General Info

The barn is home to seven spacious en suite bedrooms – five of the bedrooms welcome their guests with super king size beds, and the bridal suite has a four poster bed to make a stay extra special. Downstairs, the three reception rooms can be opened up to create one elegant 80 foot space – perfect for a special event.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

Embrace life on a working farm by staying at Gladices Barn!  The resident herd of waygu cattle are always a delight to see as you set off for a wander along one of the nearby footpaths or bridleways. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the chance to spot the pheasants, badgers, hares, cuckoos, corn bunting and red squirrel that call the area home.  Located on the South East coast of the Isle of Wight in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gladices Barn offers guests a tranquil, rural setting with an abundance of activities on the doorstep. For those looking for action, try surfing at Compton Bay or for a slower pace enjoy one of the many scenic inland or coastal walks.

Interior Details

There is a large living, dining and TV room separated by double doors.  The TV room has a 48” flatscreen TV with Freesat, Blu-ray and iPod docking station.  The spacious kitchen is super stylish with black high gloss cupboards, oak and granite worktops and marble floors.  There is a central island breakfast bar, a 50” TV and iPod docking station.  Fully equipped with appliances, utensils and accessories with a separate utility room.  The dining area seats 14 and has access to a balcony with spectacular sea and country views.  There are seven bedrooms, six on the first floor, and the master bedroom on the ground floor.  All the bedrooms have flatscreen TV with Freesat and DVD player.  Two of the bedrooms have sea views.  There are six super kings (one can be made up as a twin if required) and a bridal suite complete with designer four poster bed.   All seven bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, and there is an additional family bathroom.

Exterior Details

Outside, there’s a one acre garden with a hot tub  (available May - September) that - the perfect place to sink beneath the bubbles and admire the views for a while. On warmer days, dine al fresco using the BBQ and sit back on the decked terrace means and watch deer and stags in the nearby paddock.  The garden has wonderful countryside and sea views.  Parking for up to 10 cars.
