Le Manoir de Longeveau offering 15% off ALL July availability until the end of January 2019! Stay at this former cognac in a beautiful stone property with tennis, golf, bar, restaurant, heated pools, children's club, entertainment, personal trainers, massage therapists and in property dinning; just some of the amazing services and facilities on offer…
Set in the Charentaise countryside just a stone’s throw from the wonderful Longeveau estate, Chez Grelon is a beautiful French country house offering period features, contemporary design and all the services you could need for a truly relaxing holiday.
Just down the road from a former cognac estate on the Charente/Dordogne border you will find Chez Grelon, a lovingly converted barn which has been renovated to an exceptional standard. Inside, authentic features combine with abundant mod cons to create a luxurious home-from-home holiday experience. Outside here are numerous terraces and garden areas not to mention a heated swimming pool. And a couple of kilometres away is the Manoir de Longeveau where you have unlimited access to a golf club, tennis courts, a play barn and a bar/restaurant. Whether you’re home at the barn, exploring the estate or out and about discovering vineyards and villages, this is an idyllic setting for a family vacation.
The beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds the estate is paradise for walkers, cyclists and painters, and there are also activities like canoeing, fishing and quad biking available. Wine lovers will find chateaux and vineyards aplenty while children can enjoy crazy golf, horse riding, tree top adventures and water parks. And there are numerous picturesque towns and villages to discover, from nearby Aubeterre, with its winding streets, river beaches and 12th century subterranean church, to the bustling market towns of Chalais and Riberac. Further afield the capital towns of Angouleme and Perigeux have a good selection of shops and restaurants, and the famous towns of St. Emilion, Bergerac, Cognac and Bordeaux (not to mention the unspoilt beaches of the Atlantic Coast) are well worth a day trip.
The estate is located between the villages of St Sevérin and Aubeterre Sur Dronne. It is approximately 40 minutes south of Angouleme, 45 minutes west of Perigeux and 1 hour 20 minutes east of Bordeaux. The local airports are Angouleme-Cognac, Bergerac, Bordeaux, Limoges, Poitiers and La Rochelle and the closest mainline train station is Angouleme.

The garden terrace stretches the length of the house and steps down to a small garden and a heated enclosed pool. There is an outside dining area and plenty of sun loungers so you can make the most of the long summer days.
