General Info
The picturesque setting seems to perfectly compliment this large Georgian country house which has been lovingly restored to retain the grandeur and elegance of the period while at the same maintaining an utterly welcoming and homely atmosphere.

Ideal as a celebration home or as a private retreat for groups of friends and family looking to simply spend time together, The Vean sleeps up to sixteen guests with eight super king size bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) providing ample luxurious space to enjoy.

Two tastefully decorated living rooms comprising a lounge with large open fireplace and a cosy snug, have sumptuous seating to invite hours of relaxation and conversation; while the amply equipped modern kitchen and formal dining room create a social hub where delicious meals can be both prepared and shared together.

Not to be outdone, the outdoor space on offer is stunning, with fantastic views of the estate’s grounds on show from nearly every angle of the property. Two furnished areas made up of a rear garden with barbecue and games as well as sun-drenched patio, are the perfect places to enjoy fresh air dining or an evening drink, while open stretches of lawn mean children (and adults) can run free.

Just 10-15 minute’s walk from Caerhays Castle as well as being within easy reach of the coastal path and two beautiful beaches, The Vean also offers an excellent base from which to explore the nearby towns of Mevagissey, Charlestown, Fowey and Falmouth.

Guests also receive free entry to Caerhays Garden (when open between mid-February and mid-June) and free parking at Porthluney beach.
