A beautifully styled 3 bedroom house with a private garden, just a five minute walk to the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The Lobster Pot is the perfect beachside staycation destination, with its boutique and family friendly interiors, and the delights of the welsh coastline on your doorstep.
With no less than four beaches accessible on foot from the Lobster Pot (as well as being within walking distance of pubs and shops), The Lobster Pot is a fabulous setting for a family beach holiday. The house sits above Langland and Rotherslade beaches which are a short walk away. Two further beaches, Limeslad and Caswell, can also be reached on foot. This is a walker’s paradise - set out on the spectacular Gower coastline in any direction - you can reach the well known village of Mumbles in under half an hour. If you don’t want to use a car whilst you're here, most things are within walking distance, and there are local buses which you can get if you want to get into nearby Swansea.
There’s so much to do nearby, you will not find yourself short of ideas! Beach time is a favourite pastime for all - rock pooling, surfing, swimming, paddle boarding. You can be on the coastal cliff path two minutes after leaving the front door, which stretches out in both directions along breathtaking clifftops. Walk along the coast path to the pretty village of Mumbles, home to lots of artisan shops and eateries. The house sits about the sweeping Langland Bay, a renowned family beach destination popular with surfers and paddleboarders. The Gower Peninsula was the first ever AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) in Britain, and it’s not hard to see why.

Inside, the cottage is beautifully designed and is home to interesting artworks and boutique furnishings. There are three bedrooms - one king size, one double and one twin. The bedrooms offer you a sneak peak of the coast in the distance. There’s a pretty pink kitchen, well equipped with all you might need including dishwasher and washing machine. The conservatory is perfect for lazing in the sun, and the living room has french doors through which you can enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The living room has a fireplace and TV. There is wifi throughout, and a bathroom with toilet upstairs and a separate toilet downstairs.
There’s a large, enclosed rear garden with table and chairs. There’s driveway parking for up to two cars, with an electric car charging facility.
Conditions of Rental
Check in from 4pm, check out by 10am. Due to the house’s residential location, it is best suited to families and couples. No smoking or parties. Well behaved pets welcome for a small additional fee. Linen and towels included. 24/7 guest support.
