A lovingly restored 1958 Cygnet Touring Caravan, Jemima is a beautiful little romantic retreat for two situated in an elevated position with views across the Aeron Valley in West Wales, and with its own delightful little woodland garden. Nearby wonderful walking trails and alpaca trekking on site, and a warm welcome for your own four legged friends.
With its beautiful rural surroundings, it’s no wonder that this smallholding is a happy home to a variety of animals including two dogs, two cats, six alpacas, chickens and ducks. For the animal lovers amongst you, you can book an alpaca experience or some alpaca trekking on site. Go on a trek through the Aeron Valley with three of the alpacas and / or enjoy a hands on experience in the Alpaca meadow where you can feed and cuddle them. Each of the Alpaca experiences is finished off with a Welsh Cream Tea in Tabitha the Caravan, which has fantastic views across the valley. Alpaca experiences start from £50 per person.
If you can tear yourself away from the stunning Aeron Valley views, then there’s lots to do in the surrounding area. There are walking trails straight from your doorstep. The Farm Walk takes you across the river in the bottom of the valley, up through fields and woodland, right to the top of the opposite side of the valley, with spectacular views back to the house and the woodlands beyond. Less than 20 minutes by car will bring you to the nearest beaches, many of which are dog friendly. At Llanrhystud there’s half a mile of sandy beach when the tide is out, as well as a walking trail up onto the headband with views along Cardigan Bay. If you drive inland for 20 minutes you’ll reach the Cambrian mountains, complete with pine forests, waterfalls and secret lakes. You’re also only about 45 minutes from the edge of Snowdonia National Park with its rivers, forests and mountain trails.
