One-Off Feature

Light and airy yet also comfy and cosy, this traditional mountain cabin is an excellent base from which to explore the many delights of Mount Baker. It has everything you could need for a wonderful family holiday, not least a private hot tub!

General Info

Well-appointed and well-equipped, Cabin 11 is characterised by open-plan living, big windows that let the light flood in, a wood burning stove and (of course) the hot tub out the front. And on your doorstep are beautiful surroundings and a wonderful array of outdoor activities that make the most of the natural environment. There’s something to keep everyone happy.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

If you’re looking for fresh air, scenic landscapes and outdoor pursuits then Mount Baker is a fantastic destination. For a start it is a hiker’s paradise and the mountain hosts numerous walking routes of varying difficulties - not least part of the famous Pacific Crest trail, which goes right through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Those in search of gentler pursuits can enjoy fishing for wild salmon in the Nooksack River and boating on Silver Lake, or if you want to get the adrenalin pumping then you can go white water rafting, mountain biking, climbing, hunting, skiing, snowboarding or snow-shoeing. And at the end of a long day of exploring you can settle into one of the area’s excellent restaurants before heading back to your cosy cabin.
