Chalet 7 is a gorgeous two storey, three bedroom, two bath cedar chalet with spectacular views of Silver Lake. Pet-friendly and cozy, the chalet sleeps 8-10 people comfortably and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. There's nothing quite like living by a lake to soothe and restore you.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! In summer, you can enjoy superb hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. And during the winter, you can take part in spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera... the photography is unsurpassed whatever the season.

Getting There:
The cabin is located two hours north of Seattle and 1.5 hours south of Vancouver. From Seattle, take Interstate-5 (N) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway #542). Turn right at the end of the offramp, and proceed (E) directly to our offices in the village of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2 hours. From Vancouver, take Highway 99 (S) to the Canada/USA border crossing. Then take Interstate-5 (S) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive / Mt. Baker Highway #542). Turn left at the end of the offramp, and proceed (E) directly to our offices in the village of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5 hours.

Inside you will find a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen and a large living/dining area with a wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), cathedral ceilings and expansive windows. One of the bedrooms has its own private entrance, as well as a king size bed, a gas fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom. The second floor features one bedroom with two queen size beds and another en-suite king-size bedroom.

Exterior Details
The chalet is surrounded by a large wraparound deck with a gas grill and a private outdoor hot tub.

Conditions of Rental
The rates for Chalet 7 range from $304.00 to $587.00 per night, and from $1824.00 to $4109.00 per week. Other Mt. Baker Lodging vacation properties range from $104.00 to $1341.00 per night, and from $654.00 to $8960.00 per week USD + tax. Reservations are subject to a 2-night minimum stay during regular periods, and a 3-night minimum stay during holiday and special event periods. An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total reservation cost, including tax, is required to reserve the property. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival, and is automatically debited on the scheduled due-date. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, and American Express as forms of payment.
