One-Off Feature

Just 20 minutes from Vancouver, yet immersed in the wild nature of British Columbia, you will find Eagle`s Nest. The architect owner has lovingly remodelled the house, preserving the rich warmth of the Cedar walls and exposed beams, and taking advantage of the amazing views over Deep Cove from the panoramic windows, the wide deck and the outdoor hot tub.

General Info

Surrounded by tall ancient forests, pristine mountains and islands, and the calm, sparkling ocean, these views are enthusiastically declared, by everyone who visits, to be the best in Vancouver, and it isn'’t hard to see why. Can you imagine anything more magical than watching bald eagles, hawks and humming birds from the deck, curling up in front of the wood fire or soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars, away from the city lights? This beautiful, quiet, bright, spacious home, sitting within 10,000 feet of grounds with a gurgling mountain stream running through them, is an unforgettable property in an unforgettable setting.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The house sits at the foot of 2 provincial parks, on the south-facing slopes of the coastal mountains. At the end of the street is the charming little neighbourhood centre of Deep Cove, with its restaurants, cafes, gift shops, kayak rentals, and cultural centre with a gallery and stage for music, dance and theatre. Stroll through parks and along beaches, trails and marina boardwalks, and enjoy being surrounded by islands, forests and ocean. The Baden Powell trail, which winds up through fir forests to a spacious clearing, is just steps from Eagle’s Nest, and there is also easy access to the sea to sky highway, which runs through stunning mountain scenery to the world-famous sports park at Whistler, about 1.5 hours away. The local mountains offer world-class recreation facilities, so you can mountain bike, hike, climb, fish and golf to your heart’s content. And after a day exploring the great outdoors you can sample delicious cuisine from all around the world.
