This traditional stone house for up to six people is in the pretty Italian mountain village of Rezzo, close to the mountains and beaches of Western Liguria. Breathtaking views from the terrace, 30 minutes to beaches and 45 minutes to skiing, it’s wonderfully positioned for an Italian holiday.
The owners live about 5 minutes walk away and are on hand to help answer any questions. They have lived in the area for over 10 years so know the locality well, and are happy to share their local knowledge with you so you can find the best of the restaurants, shops, and must see places!
Rezzo is a typical Ligurian village and has two small shops which double as cafe bars. The village is set in a wooded valley and is perfect for hiking or mountain biking - all levels of fitness are catered for. There are two restaurants in the village, Sapori del Bosco, a family run restaurant at the heart of the village, or a second restaurant up the hill. The beaches of Imperia or Alassio are a 30-40 minute drive. Or you can picnic by the river in summer and do some river swimming instead! Skiing 45 minutes away.
Getting There:
Rezzo is equidistant from Genoa and Nice airports, both approximately 90 mins drive. Both airports have a choice of car rental firms, car hire is advisable to make the most of the area. We will meet you in front of the town hall and lead you up to the house.

Interior Details
The house has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a family bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is the third bedroom (a double with ensuite), as well as the main living space. The kitchen is well equipped. There’s a lounge with sofas, TV and DVD, and a dining area. Wifi is available throughout. The house was converted by the current owners who have done a wonderful job of maintaining the character of the traditional stone house whilst adding the modern comforts.
Exterior Details
The terrace leads off the living space and has simply breathtaking views across the valley. It catches the sun all day long, has a dining table and chairs, sunloungers and a BBQ. Parking is available close to the house.
Conditions of Rental
Check in from 3pm. Check out by 11am. Minimum stay 2 nights. Cancellations more than 30 days from the arrival date and you’ll receive a full refund. Short stays for parties of four or more will incur an additional cleaning fee.
Further Info
A car is advisable to allow you to explore the surrounding area (although Rezzo is served by a public bus service which connects with buses to the coast). You can park close to the house but the old road is too small for most cars. We have a small truck so we will take your luggage to and from the carpark to the house. The house is not suitable for those who have very restricted mobility. We grow our own produce and have a small vineyard and olive grove, we are always grateful if you fancy helping out.
