Combining Victorian grandeur with 21st century comforts, The Colloquy has been beautifully converted from historic stable buildings which have been imaginatively re-designed to create a unique setting for weekends away, celebrations and corporate retreats.  Complete with garden, swimming pool and hot tub, and with endless activities on your doorstep, this is a wonderful setting for a holiday.

General Info

Whether you’re here for a party, a reunion or a board meeting, The Colloquy offers a spacious, characterful and peaceful hideaway within the secluded Herefordshire countryside. Inside there are bedrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens and living/social areas galore, and outside there is a whole host of leisure activities on offer within the grounds. This is an ideal place for friends, family and colleagues to enjoy the privacy and exclusivity of a self-catering house with all the top quality facilities of a high end hotel.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

Beyond the private garden there are endless acres of fields, orchards and woodland for you to explore and there are four excellent walking trails that go round the farm, through the woods, over open countryside and connect with other foot paths (you can even walk to the pub). Within about a half hour drive you can play golf, try shooting, go canoeing and go-karting, cycle and horse ride, and nearby you will find Hay-on-Wye with its numerous book shops, the border towns of Kington and Presteigne and Ludlow with its renowned food markets and restaurants. In the area you will find gardens, houses, castles and farms, as well as an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants.
