Ten miles away is the vibrant city of Durham, home to the magnificent cathedral, the University s Botanic Garden and the Light Infantry Museum. You can also explore the Vale of Durham, visit Auckland Castle, the National Railway Museum, the Tanfield Railway the oldest railway in the world, or explore the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is ample private parking available for two cars. If you have another car, there is additional parking available near the stables just a few yards away. There is also a secure cycle store. You can even bring your horse with you as stabling and a paddock are available on request.
