The glorious North Pennines are nearby, offering stunning landscapes, heather covered moors, rugged peat lands and magical hay meadows, making them a perfect destination for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Staying on the farm, guests can explore the farmland and see the farm animals including cattle and sheep. There are 100 acres of farmland to explore, including a nature trail, playing field, riverside paths, ancient monument and a medieval moat. On entering this delightful single floor cottage you will find yourself in the cosy and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The welcoming and snug lounge is ideal for relaxing in, complete with TV/DVD and a single sofa bed for additional sleeping.
