One-Off Feature
Just five minutes drive from the beautiful beach at Portreath this delightful annexe which lies just off the A30 is perfect as a couples’ retreat and its excellent position means guests will have all of area’s attractions and coastline at their fingertips. A wealth of fantastic walks in the area (the best of which we’ve listed below), and a bike track just down the road means that you’ll be able to take your pick of route to enjoy either on foot or by bike, and for guests who prefer to leave their cycling gear at home the nearby Elm Farm runs a bike hire service, so you’ll still be able to enjoy getting out together. For golf enthusiasts the uniquely designed Famous Nine Golf is just the place to challenge each other, with each hole being modelled on some of the world’s most famous (we love the 8th which is inspired by St Andrew’s 18th hole), and Gwelan Mor's 2-acre course Clover fishing lake is ideal for the avid angler.

Bright and airy, the annex interior has a split-level layout with the lower being a comfy living room with dining area and double doors that lead out on to the front patio. The master bedroom is en-suite and is furnished with a double bed, The modern kitchen is well equipped for whipping up a few delicious home cooked meals in, while the breakfast bar makes for the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee whilst planning the day’s activities. The Annex at Vale House welcomes up to four dogs, and with its enclosed rear courtyard, exercise lawn and wonderful countryside setting, it has all the outside space you and your four- legged friends could dream of.
