Marrakech is the ultimate in fashionable and exotic destinations, and where better to experience it from than Maison Arabo Andalouse, a stunning riad within the old walls of the ‘medina’ (old city). This is an authentic yet exclusive holiday retreat.
Set right next to the buttresses of the XVI century Palace “El Badi”, this charming riad has preserved its original structure and its Arabic-Andalusian decoration and it now offers its guests a truly traditional experience of Moroccan hospitality. Throughout the house there are original features like stuccos, encaustic tiles, cedar wood carvings, decorative plasterwork, vaulted ceilings and geometric floors, but you will also find en-suite bedrooms, air-conditioning, WiFi and private sun terraces. With a fantastic chef in the building and wonderful staff on hand to offer advice, Maison Arabo Andalouse promises an unforgettable stay.
The staff will happily arrange excursions for you, as well as restaurant bookings, hammam experiences and taxis. Trips to the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages are a must, and closer to home you can explore the colourful souks and the bustling square of Djemaa el Fna. If you want to cool off head to the Jardin Majorelle, or you could just wander the narrow streets soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the historic architecture. You could even take a day trip to the beach at Essaouira.
Marrakech has a very well-served international airport.
