Families can take day trips to the National Showcaves, the Owl Centre, Brecon Mountain Railway and the nearby Cantref Adventure Centre, and this is also an excellent base for festivals like Green Man, Hay Literary Festival, Abergavenny Food Festival and Brecon Jazz.
