If you’re a looking for a chic holiday home with plenty of bedrooms, huge social spaces, contemporary comforts and gorgeous surroundings then Churn Barn is exactly the place. Inside original beams and oak floors blend with modern facilities to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for all ages. Outside you can play in the garden, dine on the patio and even use the adults-only hot tub. And in the area there are beautiful walks, magnificent castles, charming market towns and miles of natural beauty. What are you waiting for?

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The cottage is set on the hillside above Chinley Village, with beautiful views over Cracken Edge and the valley. A half mile stroll will take you down into the village where there are local shops and a friendly inn, and there are numerous walking and cycling routes which lead directly from the cottage. Places like Peveril Castle, Whaley Bridge canal basin, the Goyt Valley and Lyme Hall are well worth a visit, as are Castleton's Blue John caverns, Buxton's magnificent Opera House, the Dambuster Dams and the wild moorlands of Kinder Scout. You’ll be spoilt for choice.

Interior Details
The barn has six bedrooms - an en-suite Master, an en-suite double, three twins and a family room - as well as a family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. There is a spacious lounge and dining area with comfortable sofas, a glass dining table and a TV with DVD player/Freeview, and you will also find a superb fitted kitchen, a utility room and a separate games room with table tennis, a pool table and a TV. 

Exterior Details
Outside there is a large stone flagged patio with furniture as well as a secure garden with BBQ/fire pit. A hot tub is available by prior arrangement and for an extra cost.  There is secure parking for six cars. 

Pets and smoking are not permitted in the cottage. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult. The owner does not accept hen/stag/single sex parties. A refundable £300 security deposit is required.
