Within the grounds of a private finca full of olive and almond trees you will find Casa Milan, a 17th century detached country house where families and friends can relax and unwind in peaceful picturesque surroundings.
Casa Milan has undergone extensive restoration but it retains much of its original character and antique furniture. The house itself is large and welcoming, the garden is a haven for both play and tranquillity, and the surrounding area is green and unspoilt yet also full of charming villages, churches, restaurant and outdoor pursuits. If you’re looking to exchange the busy modern world for a simpler more comforting style of living then Casa Milan could be just the place to do it.
The house is situated about 100 metres from Juseu, a tiny authentic village in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees. The village provides a starting point for lots of long walks, there are ancient footpaths leading to Romanesque churches and abandoned monasteries and there are magnificent views in every direction. Within the area there are lots of activities to enjoy, from hiking, canoeing and horse riding to skiing, canyoning and bathing in mountain rivers, or you can explore some of the nearby waterfalls, caves and wine bodegas. Graus, 10km away, is home to a weekly market and further afield is Barbastro, a village with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Cities like Lerida, Huesca, Zaragoza and Barcelona are ideal for day trips.
Barcelona is 2.5 hours away by car and the roads in the region are very good.

The dining room leads out to an inner courtyard and to the veranda and garden. In the garden there are fig, mulberry, olive and almond trees and next to the house there is plenty of parking. Within the grounds there is a communal area where guests can read, email and meet one another over a glass of wine (classes and workshops also take place here).
