A superb four bedroom cottage in the Chatsworth Estate village of Beeley in Derbyshire’s beautiful Peak District, with the fantastic Devonshire Arms pub just across the square.

General Info

The cottage is set in the picturesque 'Chatsworth Estate' village of Beeley, nestling in the Derwent Valley, within the Peak District National Park. Beeley is a quiet village and the cottage looks across the village square towards the Devonshire Arms, renowned gastro-pub. Also a few steps from the cottage is The Smithy, previously the blacksmiths and now the village shop/deli/cafe.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

If you can tear yourselves away from the charming village of Beeley there is masses to do in the vicinity. If you are keen on walking, there are lots of walking trails to explore. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just minutes away. Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne are a must for exploring. Favourite days out for our children include boating on Carsington Water, biking along the High Peak Trail or a trip down the Blue John Caverns.

Interior Details
Post Cottage can sleep up to nine people in four bedrooms and three bathrooms.  There’s a luxurious large lounge with log effect gas stove, comfy furniture, flat screen TV, DVD and WiFi, and a superb beamed dining room.  The spacious kitchen diner has a log burning stove, bespoke wooden units, table and chairs, as well as TV, range cooker, and dishwasher, and all the necessary appliances and utensils.  There is a separate utility room with washer and tumble drier.  There is one double bedroom downstairs with an ensuite shower room.  Upstairs one further double bedroom, a family bedroom with double and single beds, and a twin bedroom, as well as two further bathrooms, one with whirlpool bath. 

Exterior Details
There is a terraced patio and large garden with furniture. Parking is available right outside the cottage. 

Conditions
Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. Short breaks are available( excluding Xmas and New Year). Pets are allowed by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be possible.  Please ask for details and a copy of the cottage access statement. Bookings are from Friday to Friday. Change over day: Friday
