Two miles away is the popular resort of Colwyn Bay, whilst just a little further along the coast are the Victorian town of Llandudno, the Great Orme and the historic Conwy Castle. Snowdonia National Park is on the doorstep with a huge range of outdoor activities including walking, climbing and mountain biking. This is a superb spacious space which is the ideal venue for friends and families to get together and enjoy the delights of North Wales all year round. Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Old Colwyn is a sleepy seaside town located to the east of the larger coastal town of Colwyn Bay. A wide promenade winds along the sweeping bay from Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay, with access to a long coastal cycle track, three miles of safe sandy beaches and the pier and harbour at Rhos-on-Sea. Nearby attractions include the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park with its fantastic indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a number of local golf courses, and a selection of restaurants and pubs in both Old Colwyn and in Colwyn Bay. From here you can enjoy interesting day trips to Victorian Llandudno, the medieval town of Conwy with its 13th Century castle, Bodnant Gardens and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia and Isle of Anglesey. Old Colwyn is a perfect location for touring all of North Wales.

Set over 3 floors, The Ship Inn has been designed with clever finishing touches to create a feeling of warmth and intimacy, and the stylish modern furniture allows you to relax and socialise in comfort. There are a total of twelve bedrooms, ten of which have king-size beds, which can be converted into twin rooms on request, along with a ground floor twin with adjustable electric beds. The final bedroom is a very large dormitory room that sleeps twelve people with four quality bunk beds, suitable for adults, and a further four trundle beds, making it a fantastic room for kids and teenagers! One of the bedrooms has en-suite facilities, plus there are a further six family bathrooms, one of which boasts a luxurious Jacuzzi bath. There are two spacious sitting rooms, both of which have a double sofa bed. The ground floor sitting room has a galleried ceiling, a full wall projector TV screen with surround sound for cinema effect, and a woodburning stove. The first floor sitting room is a superb area to relax, chat, play on the Wii or watch Sky TV, with sports and movies on offer, whilst relaxing on the comfortable corner sofa which even houses a built in fridge! There is a games area with a full-size pool table, whilst the kitchen and dining area is beautifully appointed with a full range of appliances, a large breakfast counter with six bar stools and two large refectory tables. Electric range double oven, 5-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezers, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwashers. 2 x 3D TVs with full Sky multi-room, cinema projector, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, Wii, WiFi, selection of toys and games.
