Perched in an ash tree with sweeping sea and countryside views, Tree Sparrow House is a cosy and unusual treetop hideaway offering peace, seclusion and views over Falmouth Bay and the fields and farmland of Tregaminion.
If your idea of the perfect holiday property is a unique little bolthole where you can escape from the world, enjoy quiet surroundings and fall asleep to the sound of leaves rustling in the trees, then look no further. This lovingly constructed treehouse is situated on the unspoilt Lizard Peninsula, famous for its quaint fishing villages, secluded coves and stunning coastal scenery. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing break and you may find it hard to leave
Tree Sparrow House is situated in Tregaminion, on the lower east coast of the Lizard Peninsula. The fishing village of Porthallow, with its beautiful beach, is a 10 minute walk from the tree house and offers safe swimming, fishing, coastal walks and a good local pub, The Five Pilchards Inn. You can also walk to the small village of St Keverne (about 20 minutes) where you will find a lovely church, two pubs and several restaurants and shops, and the neighbouring fishing villages of Coverack and Porthoustock are well worth a visit. As well as restaurants, pubs, craft shops and galleries, the area is also popular for a number of outdoor activities, from sailing, surfing and diving to horse riding and golf. And other great days out include Flambards Theme Park, the National Seal Sanctuary, The Eden Project, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station, Minack Theatre, National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Roskilly’s Ice Cream and Organic Farm. Or pay a visit to St. Ives, Falmouth or Helston.
The tree house is situated at Tregoss Barton, Tregaminion, St. Keverne. From the A30 take the A39 through Truro towards Falmouth then take the A394 to Helston. From Helston take the A3083 towards the Lizard and Mullion then take the B3293 to St. Keverne. In St. Keverne square turn left in front of the White Hart pub. Follow this twisty road towards Porthallow for about a mile. After the Eagle gate posts on the right-hand side, take a left turn (signposted for Tregaminion). We are the first drive on the left.
