One-Off Feature

Breathtaking views across Whitsand Bay, stunning luxurious interiors, an open fire, under floor heating, lavish little touches throughout and a panoramic outlook from the hot tub on the terrace. This is a beautiful beach house in a sensational setting on the south coast of Cornwall.

General Info

Away from the main village and set back from a small harbour and rocky foreshore sits The Beach House, where meticulous attention has been paid to every aspect. Cosy suspended fire place, limed oak wooden floors, hardwood doors made in Botswana, limestone with inlaid fossils and handmade bricks from Pakistan are just some of the distinctive features that characterise this impressive property. The house can sleep 2 as happily as it can sleep 10 and there isn’t anything that hasn’t been thought of. Sink into a hydrotherapy bath, curl up in the TV den, prepare a delicious feast in the fabulous modern kitchen or take a bottle of champagne to the hot tub and watch the sunset. This house, in both design and location, is incomparable to anywhere you will have stayed before.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The local village is well-equipped with a pub, a local store/post office, a hotel with an indoor leisure club and an 18 hole golf course. The house is just moments from miles and miles of wonderful surfing beaches and the start of the Cornwall South West Coast Path is just 50 metres from the door. This pathway stretches for 630 miles and encompasses some of the most spectacular views in England. There are lots of stately homes and gardens within easy reach, from Lanhydrock and Anthony House to Cotehele and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the famous Eden Project is also nearby. You could take some riding lessons, hire a boat and go fishing, play tennis or enjoy a whole host of water sports off the coast. And after all that you can relax in one of the local restaurants, like The View, The Granary Restaurant or the Old Sail Loft in Looe.

Accommodation Details

Interior Details
The sitting room, kitchen and dining area have been combined into one impressive open-plan space, with floor to ceiling windows so you can appreciate unparalleled views of the sea. With a wood burning stove suspended from the ceiling and direct access to the sun terrace and hot tub, this is a wonderful room whatever the season. In fact in many ways the house is even more enjoyable in the winter, thanks to the triple glazing and under floor heating throughout. The dining table is made out of an old oak tree, the kitchen has absolutely all the equipment and mod cons you could ask for, and the living area is full of exposed wooden beams and eaves. The Master bedroom has an oak four poster, an en-suite bathroom with hydrotherapy bath, and French doors leading to a private walled courtyard. The
