If you want to explore the Welsh wilderness from the comfort of a cosy and luxurious bolthole, look no further. These characterful apartments, housed in a former railway station, offer a unique and stylish boutique self-catering experience in a stunning part of the world. There are four apartments on offer, 2 with three bedrooms, 1 with two bedrooms and 1 with one bedroom.
This pair of sumptuous three bedroom apartments are the perfect base for people who want to discover the rugged beauty and remoteness of Snowdonia without sacrificing warmth and luxury. The living spaces are furnished with unusual hand-crafted pieces, from scallop-edged metal ware and old pine chapel chairs to original artworks and elegant antiques – and yet, despite the opulence, the apartments are practical and well-equipped with everything you need to feel settled and at home. Artistic and innovative, but also restful and wonderfully snug, the Alpine Apartments are the ultimate hideaway from which to discover this exceptionally lovely corner of Wales.
Characterised by mountains, forests, lakes and wildlife, Snowdonia National Park is a very special place. The park is full of high peaks and rocky grandeur, and lower down the wild mountains give way to lush forests and gentle valleys. It is the perfect place for artists, adventurers, families and fun-seekers, and nowhere else will you find so much variety in one place.
There is free parking in a public car park yards from the apartments. Buses stop about 50 yards away, and of course trains halt right below the apartment windows.

Each apartment has its own individual style but they are all kitted out with a host of thoughtful and useful touches. There are old leather chairs to sink into, fine cotton sheets to sleep in and cleverly designed bathrooms to enjoy, but you will also find mod cons like an iPod dock and WiFi access. And all sorts of complimentary supplies await you – two bottles of wine (one red one white), fresh fruit, fresh bread, butter, tea and coffee, milk, sugar, salt and pepper, spices, marmalade, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and ice. There are two apartments with three bedrooms (sleeping 6), one apartment with two bedrooms (sleeping 4) and one apartment with one bedroom (sleeping 2).
The apartments are housed in an old railway station right in the middle of Betws-y-Coed, a delightful village in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. In the village you will find a full range of amenities, and on your doorstep there are countless public footpaths leading to picturesque picnic spots.
Apartments 1 and 2 (each three bedrooms) are adjacent and can be booked together to create one large combined space, perfect for parties or for families holidaying together.
