Nestled within the charming whitewashed village of Bedar, No3 is an elegant Spanish townhouse in Andalucia, perfect for families or as a romantic retreat. With a variety of great bars, shops restaurants and a swimming pool within walking distance, and just 10 miles from sandy beaches, this is an excellent choice for a Spanish holiday.
Owned by a Swedish interior designer and a musician, No3's interior design reflects the owners eclectic tastes by fusing Nordic design with a Spanish and Moorish influence. Set over 3 floors, the Bohemian top floor chill out room can be converted into an additional bedroom thanks to it's king sized sofa bed. The roof terrace offers beautiful views of the tranquil village of Bedar, the stunning Cabrera Mountains and some sea views.
The house is situated on the edge of the village and it’s just a short walk into the countryside where you’ll find the village’s fresh mountain spring, a buddhist monastery and a range of mountain hiking opportunities. You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes where there are three bars / restaurants, two small supermarkets, a hairdresser, bank, pharmacy and a public outdoor swimming pool. The village is home to a number of musicians and artists and you’ll often find live music in the bars. There is an arts and crafts workshop at the top of the village. If you want to venture further afield, there’s lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Just ten miles away is a 19km stretch of beach from Garrucha to Macena Playa, incorporating the beach bars of Mojacar. Watersports, beachfront restaurants and other activities abound here.

On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with log fire and digital TV and a fully equipped kitchen diner. The kitchen diner has an adjoining shower room and a Moroccan patio leading off it. The first floor is home to two double bedrooms, one king size and one double, as well as a bathroom with bath and shower. There is a further sitting room / chill out room on the second floor with king size sofa bed and a washroom, which can double as a third bedroom if required. Also on this floor is access to the wonderful roof terrace. The house has wifi access throughout, and a child’s put up bed and cot bed are available on request.
At ground floor level is a shaded Moroccan patio and from the second floor you can access the splendid roof terrace which has sun loungers, table and chairs. Just a three minute walk from the house is a football ground where the youngsters of the group and go and expend some energy!
