General Info
This delightful fisherman s cottage has been tastefully updated and furnished beautifully. Close to the harbour and village amenities and a sandy beach. The dramatic Moray Firth coastline offers a mix of golden sandy beaches and rugged scenery, along the coast you ll find plenty of small fishing villages all with their own history and charm. For wildlife lovers, there s plenty to see with the exceptional birdlife and famous Moray Firth Dolphins making regular appearances. There are some great golf courses nearby and fabulous walks and cycle routes which allow you to fully appreciate the unspoilt beauty of this area. Enjoy a day out at the Macduff aquarium or visit the Baxter s Highland village for some lunch and shopping for local produce. Enter the cottage through the front door where you will find the tastefully decorated master bedroom with king size bed and twin bedroom with plenty of storage. The shower room is also located on the ground floor with shower cubicle and WC. There is a utility area with a freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a large storage cupboard with assorted items like picnic basket the guests can use. Heading upstairs via the traditional fisherman s steep staircase, turning right opens into the light welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Cook up a meal in the well equipped kitchen area which includes an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Enjoy your evening meal around the dining table overlooking the harbour, then relax in the comfy lounge after a day of exploring the area and watch the TV/DVD or play one of the selection of board games provided. Also located on the first floor is a further twin bedroom with adjacent WC. There is a toy box with a selection of toys for the children. Venturing outside via the utility rear door you will find steps leading to the south facing decking area with table and chairs where you can relax in the secluded sun trap, there is also a shed with toys in it for the children. There is a parking space opposite the property.
