Set within the peaceful and picturesque countryside on the island of Ischia in Italy, this pretty home combines traditional architecture with a Mediterranean garden and all the mod cons, and is just a short ferry ride to Capri, Sorrento and Naples.
Built in the 50s by a German architect, OmaKoti is part of a stone farmhouse which features original fireplaces, preserved tiles and views of both the mountains and the sea. The apartment itself is small but stylish, with all the home comforts you could want. The surrounding garden is large and beautifully kept, with corners of shade and sunshine so you can enjoy al fresco living. And the countryside is wonderfully quiet and scenic - isolated yet never far from amenities. It’s the perfect base for relaxing and exploring.
The house feels secluded but it is just 300 metres to the nearest bus stop and a short walk from Forio where you will find a variety of shops and facilities. Excursions into the countryside and mountains are easy from here, as are trips to the beach, and from the island of Ischia you can also reach Capri, Sorrento, Procida and Naples.
The nearest airport is Naples, the island is well connected by ferry and car hire is recommended. There is no private parking but a secure garage is available a few minutes away.

The house is surrounded by a large garden full of plants, flowers and vegetables, not to mention a BBQ, a table tennis table and a pergola where you can enjoy romantic dinners under the stars. You are welcome to help yourself to the vegetables from the garden when in season.
