Your honeymoon is the most exciting holiday of your life. It may be the only holiday you ever go on where it is allowed, and more so encouraged, that you raise the bar on your budget and treat yourself to the best luxury and extravagance that money can buy. It is the holiday that seals the deal on your wedding and is when your life together begins. But deciding where to go can be a minefield! There is a huge amount of choice, from a diversity of destinations to all sorts of different types of accommodation.
This week's blog post features some of our finest One Off Places! The images alone say it all - there's not much need for words, but aside from showing what these stunning properties look like, there are some great offers which need highlighting! A beautiful Moorish casa in Andalucia, a former paper mill on a private island in France and a waterside coastguard cottage in Devon are just some of the little gems we have on offer.
I know it feels like term has only just started but believe it or not, half term is just around the corner. If you haven't yet made plans, and fancy a few days away with the family, then here at One Off Places we've got some great suggestions. Peaceful and relaxing time for the adults, and the children will be in heaven too. See below for our top 5 including yurts, hobbit houses, treehouse and cottages.
Facilities: Private WC, shower and kitchen. The yurts are on an eco-finca which comprises several other yurts and eco accommodation as well as a shared pool, honesty shop, children’s play area, farm animals. This yurt pair sleeps up to 6.
Transport: 30 minutes from Arrecife airport, the price includes airport transfers and exclusive use of a Toyota Prius hybrid car throughout your stay.
Price: From £165 per night / minimum stay 2 nights.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that holiday properties with any sort of character and eccentricity will cost the earth. Generic chain hotels and boring run-of-the-mill villas and apartments are always cheaper, right? Wrong. It is VERY possible to find quirky accommodation for under £50 a night, so much so that you will actually find it harder to narrow them down than you might think! Granted, you may have to think a little more outside the box in terms of time of year, location, and style of property. But if you’re prepared to be flexible and use your imagination then the world really can be your oyster for a very reasonable price.
