Accommodation Details

Interior Details
Cossington Park has 6 bedrooms - there are beds for up to 12 people and sofa-beds for 4 more. Three bedrooms are in the oldest part of the house: Chaucer, The Nursery and The Trusty Servant. The other three are in the 1901 wing: Jolly Monks, The Cobbler and The Pump Room. All the bedrooms, most of which are named after their unusual bronze doorknockers, have period furniture and are thoughtfully decorated. The house also has 4 good bathrooms. On the ground floor you will find the drawing room, dining room, library and kitchen. The drawing room, with its old oak beams, is full of interesting pieces and has French windows which open onto the garden. The library is a lovely, comfortable room full of books, and the dining room seats 14 on antique furniture. The farmhouse-style kitchen, which encompasses a larder, scullery and pantry, is extremely well-equipped and makes a charming informal dining area. There are log burners in both the library and the drawing room.  The house has broadband internet access, two televisions with Sky/satellite.

Exterior Details
The extensive gardens house some very special trees and a wide range of unusual apples and pears (you can help yourself to fruit in season). There are 22 acres of grounds which house a whole variety of gardens and corners. These include the Main Garden on the south side of the house, a small (fenced) pond, an Orchard (a meadow with old apple trees, mature limes, abundant cowslips, a bog garden and a wild garden), Bushey Close (a field beyond the Orchard), a Walled Garden, a games field with football, basketball, badminton and a children's play area, a barbecue, a Kitchen Garden and ponds which are abundantly supplied with newts.  EV charging point available for guest use.
