Homepage feature – this feature is accessible from the homepage (and in the future from the individual search pages).  From the homepage the user will be able to search on highlighted properties and when in the results pages, any highlighted properties will stand out from the listings with a bright coloured border.

Newsletter Listing – Your property will appear as one of the featured properties in the One Off Places newsletter.

Special Offer – you can use this area to promote a particular deal, discount or promotion.

Homepage Feature:

Where and What Is It?
Your property will appear as the featured property on the One Off Places homepage for a 2 week period. This will give your property significantly more exposure than normal –with site visitors still increasing monthly your exposure will be multiplied many times over.

How Does It Work?
Your property will appear in rotation - one of 3 properties in total. Each of the 3 featured listings receives equal prominence. As you will see, the featured property section is very clear, taking up a quarter of the entire homepage. One property at a time is displayed, and the image used will be your main ‘hero shot’ (so it pays to make sure this is of good quality and striking!). If necessary, you should change the order of photos on your listing to ensure the correct one appears.

2 week homepage feature is £25 (+VAT where applicable)

How do I book a homepage feature?
You can book your feature slot up to 12 months ahead from the booking date. So if you know that your bookings need an extra push in May each year, then feel free to book up a May slot now. Just email us with your selected dates and we will send you an invoice. Slots always begin and end at midday on a Monday. Once payment has been made, your slot will be confirmed. PLEASE NOTE: if you are booking a last minute homepage feature, we MUST have received your payment before we can make the feature live.

Newsletter Feature:

Where and What Is It?
Your property will appear as one of six featured properties in the One Off Places newsletter which goes out to our entire database (currently 45,000 recipients) six times a year.  This will give your property significantly more exposure than normal.  See an example newsletter here.

How Does It Work?
A thumbnail image of your property will be shown, along with 40-60 words of promotional text and two links to your individual property page on the One Off Places website.   As you can see from the newsletters, the featured properties are very clearly displayed.  You are welcome to specify your preference for which image we use and provide us with your chosen copy; please note that One Off Places has the right to edit the copy to keep it appropriate and consistent with the rest of the newsletter.

How do I book a newsletter feature?
Our newsletters tend to be themed and you will be contacted about a month in advance of the newsletter if your particular property fits in with the upcoming theme.  However, please let us know if you are keen to feature in a newsletter, and we will be sure to find an appropriate slot for you in one of the upcoming ones.  It is not possible to feature in a newsletter more than three times in a year, or twice in a row or more.  PLEASE NOTE: we MUST have received your payment before the newsletter goes out.  Without receipt of payment we can not guarantee that your property will be featured.
