Once upon a time Pokelogin was an apple store, but now it has been transformed into a luxurious and unique holiday retreat with spectacular views of the Tamar Estuary. Whether you’re in Devon to relax or explore you’ll find what you’re looking for here.
The cottage has been lovingly renovated to the highest of standards and the owners have really breathed a new life and style into it. Expansive living areas, solid oak windows and stairs and a bold use of colour give the property a real feel good factor, outside there are terraced gardens that roll down to the water’s edge, and all around you are stunning walks, village pubs and market towns to discover. What more could you want?
Please note: Enquiries and bookings for this One Off Place are managed by one of our partner agents. Click on the enquiry button to be taken straight through to their website from where you can check exact rates and availability, and make your booking.
From the cottage it is a 20 minute Creekside walk to the local pub in Bere Ferrers and you should also make time to visit The Horn of Plenty in Gulworthy and The Endsleigh Hotel in Milton Abbot. Within 10 minutes you can be at Morwelham Quay, The Gorton Hub or The Tamar cycle trails, or the lovely market town of Tavistock, with its many cafes and restaurants, is less than 15 minutes from the cottage. And don’t miss the bustling city of Plymouth, home to an amazing aquarium and abundant shops, attractions and leisure facilities.
Bere Ferrers is on the Tamar Valley train line, or you can drive via Tavistock.
