Teach'n' Song is an artist-designed rustic Caribbean villa located at Ocean City, St. Philip, on the south-eastern side of the island. The house sits on a high cliff overlooking the ocean and is continuously caressed by the prevailing easterly breezes. This romantic location is ideal for those who want isolation and R&R, so it is no surprise that it is a popular choice for small weddings and honeymooners. The villa is based in a quiet residential area, away from the crowds and yet close enough to a variety of nightlife should you so desire it. Useful amenities are close by, with a grocery store, local pharmacy and doctor just 3 minutes away. Just down the road is a picturesque Anglican church, and 10-15 minutes away you will find a golf course and driving range. On the South coast, also just 15 minutes from the villa, there is plenty of entertainment to be found, and beaches are all around, with Crane Beach a few minutes’ walk and Miami Beach just a little further. Barbados is full of wonderful things to do and see, from visiting the Harrison Caves to the huge variety of water sports on offer. |

The interior of the house features coral stone walls and exposed beams, giving the villa a cool, clean, soothing feeling. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms and the master bedroom has a queen-size bed, with an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning to keep you cool in even the hottest temperatures. The other two bedrooms have queen and king-size beds and they also have air-conditioning. One of these rooms can be converted into a twin room if necessary. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking up a storm and the sunken living room has unusual interior arches, comfortable seating for eight and a bar refrigerator to keep those drinks chilled!

The private swimming pool and pool deck have spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and the pool sits right on the edge of the covered patio. The terrace has lattices at either end to give you extra privacy and there’s a good selection of garden furniture and a charcoal bbq so you can enjoy your meals al fresco. In a setting such as this you need do little more than just sit back and drink in the view.

Teach ‘n’ Song is an idyllic setting for small weddings and can accommodate up to 25 people for a ceremony. It is also the perfect special place for honeymoons and anniversaries, although you don’t need an excuse to come and relax in the Caribbean! Maid service is included and takes place 3 times weekly and additional services can be provided upon request (for example cooked evening meals – prices negotiable). The villa is unfortunately not suitable to children under 8 years old, but infants are accepted and a crib and stroller can be provided. Smoking is only permitted outside.

Check-out time is midday unless arrangements are made with the owners for a later departure. Check-in time is from 3pm. A 25% deposit is required to confirm all bookings and payment can be made by electronic bank transfer or Paypal, for which there are banking fees charged by the bank. These fees are payable by you, in addition to the deposit requested. The full balance is due on arrival. For most of the year there is a 7 night minimum stay and at Christmas the minimum stay is 2 weeks.

This is our second year in a row at this beautiful villa, and have already booked for next year. The description and the pictures shown by the owners are accurate,regarding the location, layout and facilities offered. The property is clean, and well maintained with someone coming in regulary to clean , and someone else coming in to maintain the pool. The owners go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and well being. I would absloutely recommend this property to my friends.If you don't rent a car you are not far from the bus stop which will take you a short ride to the nearby grocery store. A car is recommended for touring and seeing the beautiful island of Barbados. We did a tour of the entire island. WE ate at home because we had everything necessary there

My wife, sons and I want to thank you for allowing us to vacation at your amazingly comfortable villa for the past week. We had a very very relaxing week. The villa exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The pool was very refreshing each morning and when we got back in the late afternoons. Ena was very helpful and very nice. We enjoyed the walks just before sunset along the cliffs to see Foul bay with the cooling breezes. The people all over the island were very nice and hospitable. We did get to see and explore the whole island. I was very impressed with the east coast drive and the caves at the north end. We voted this vacation to be the best we ever had and your villa was most of the reason. We will certainly recommend your villa and don't be surprised if you here from us again for a revisit.

I could not have asked for better hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home from the moment we pulled up on the driveway, until the moment we left to go home. The property certainly has the "WOW" factor, and just waking up early in a morning to the view over the sea and cliffs is a real treat, and even swimming in the pool during a morning thunderstorm felt really good. If you are looking for a real hideaway to rest, relax and recharge the batteries with fantastic hosts who go out of their way to do anything for you, then stay here. Given a choice of staying at Teach n' Song or Sandy Lane, I would stay here everytime, and my friends all agree as well. It was with a real heavy heart that we left, but we are also looking to returning this November we loved the place so much.

Our family (mom, dad and three kids) stayed at Teach'n'song both times we visited Barbados. The pictures do not do it justice, it is even nicer in reality. While the pool and the cliffside view are highlights, Bob and Marilyn, and their housekeeper Ena made the villa our home during our stay. The location was good for us because we had a car. The neighbourhood is peaceful and safe. We loved driving by the goats grazing in the field and hearing the rooster crow each time we reached the top of the road. Teach'n'song is close to key amenities - 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Miami (Enterprise) Beach, 10 minutes from the Crane, close to grocery stores and gas station. We loved the big dining room table where we could look out the huge open window to the ocean. We spent many happy meals at that table and many beautiful nights stargazing by the pool while laying on the comfy lounge furniture. We actively promote Teach'n'song to our friends and family and we will definitely be back.

Our experience while staying at Teach 'n' Song was absolutely inspiring.
The property is perched above the shimmering aqua sea, bringing immediate serenity to one's soul.
The villa itself is a quiet hideaway which offers the guest total privacy and contentment.
Its interior is tastefully furnished, comfortable, clean and extremely well maintained.
Living here gives one a feeling of being 'home'.
Local restaurants, scenic tropical areas, dramatic seascapes and the prevailing 'island' atmosphere provide interest, enlightenment and entertainment for all.
The villa's owners/management team, Bob and Marilyn, are gracious hosts who warmly welcome guests as old friends.
Their hospitality extends beyond one's expectations.
Since our return from Barbados, our memories of being there have intrigued our friends.
It is our own desire to repeat that wonderful experience some day soon.

From the moment we started communicating with Marilyn and Bob, we knew that we had found reliable, friendly and honest hosts. The pictures do not do the view justice, you have to see it yourself to truly experience how awesome the natural landscape really is. The size of the house and all the amenities were more than we (my boyfriend and I) could have asked for. We were looking for a relaxing, quiet, scenic location to spend a week vacation. We walked to the grocery store and cooked all week, hardly ever leaving the property. However, with the close proximity of public transportation, we could have easily taken the bus to town or the more touristic areas, it's very easy to get around Barbados. Our hosts were very accommodating and eager to help us with any requests or information we had or needed. It was great to have lunch outside and take a dip in the pool in the afternoons. We would definitely stay at Teach'N'Song again in the future.

In our search for the perfect honeymoon hideaway, we found "Teach n Song" and began emailing Marilyn and Bob. They were so friendly and quick to respond to the many questions we had. That played a big part in our decision, because they really made us feel comfortable about booking such an important trip. Upon arrival, things just got better. Bob and Marilyn were so good at explaining everything and gave us great advice for our stay. The house and pool were better than we imagined, and the view is breathtaking. I loved staying on this side of the island where it is more relaxing with a constant breeze to stay cool, and keep bugs away. Easy to take a short bus to go sightseeing or go find nightlife. The house was clean and maintained with maid service during our stay.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon or better people to rent from. We will be back, and we recommend this property to anyone for any occasion. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

There is nothing that we can say about this property that will fully explain how truly lovely it is!!! From the moment we secured the booking to the moment we left Bob and Marilyn were a dream come true. No one will try to make your stay more enjoyable, or help you plan a dream vacation more than Bob and Marilyn. Their helper Ena is truly in a class of her own!!! You won't find a more honest or beautiful person!!!!! The villa is more than you can explain in a description and pictures, you must experience how lovely it is in person to truly appreciate its worth! As a couple who brought their two teenage boys we could not be more pleased! It is so much nicer to have your own place to return to each evening, without the hustle and bustle of a resort vacation! The pool was an amazing asset especially in the evening once we were in for the night!!
We can't say enough about Teach N Song, we will absolutely be back.......and would recommend the villa to anyone!!!!
