What visitors have said about People call this Paradise

We stayed at the Marlborough Sounds one week in December 08 and we really enjoyed it. The views, the vineyards, the weather and the apartement (spa bath, fireplace) itself were everything we wanted from a perfect holiday and that's what we got. Glen and Allison were great hosts! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday and a paradise - this is definitely the right place!

This is a wonderful place to visit with superb views. The house was lovely and we all felt very special to be sharing the home of Glen & Alison, thank you for allowing us to share your paradise. You certainly need a car as it is really out of the way. Very relaxing and just wish we had longer to enjoy. Glen and Alison were just wonderful. I had many emails with Glen before arriving in NZ and we really got to know each other. We were co-ordinating us arriving from UK and our son and girlfriend arriving from South America. We went to their home near Christchurch for lunch and they were so welcoming. Thank you both so much and hope to see you in the UK in 2011. Enjoy this wonderful place.

We spent 2 weeks at this house in January 2009, and it was wonderful. Glen and Alison were there to met us, and prepare a delicious meal, NZ style, that we all enjoyed together ( Alison, your Pavlova was spectacular!). We stayed with our 4 children, and it was fun for everyone.

Glen and Innes are very charming and generous hosts - they welcomed us and showed us the ropes, and then left us to enjoy their beautiful house on the Marlborough Sounds. The views from the house are spectacular, but the view from the main bedrooms really something special. There is excellent walking in the area, a lot to discover and we would thoroughly recommend it. There were only two of us, and we enjoyed the space, but it is a house meant for a family. We often think about our time there and particularly enjoyed walking part of the Queen Charlotte track. The gardens are a delight - as us the main deck area - a place for relaxing.
