Holiday rentals in West Wales / Pembrokeshire
If you’re looking for the archetypal idyllic holiday house in Wales, then Pembrokeshire and the West coast are the obvious place to start. This part of the world is well-known for its beautiful coastal walks, dramatic scenery, rich and varied wildlife and pristine beaches – it’s easy to see why it’s so popular! Any holiday house in Wales is likely to have access to a number of varied hiking trails, but perhaps none more so than in Pembrokeshire. The National Park Coastal Path is a protected National Trail route which stretches for 186 miles and whichever stretch you tackle you will be blown away by its sheer natural beauty and magnitude. Visit some of the picturesque seaside towns, dig sandcastles, poke around rock pools and eat fish and chips on the beach. A holiday house in Wales provides a feast of nostalgia and simple pleasures.

More about your West Wales / Pembrokeshire holiday...
But Pembrokeshire is by no means the only place worth visiting in this region. The Brecon Beacons National Park is a stunning location for a holiday house in Wales. Made up of mountains and valleys, the landscape is dotted with working farms and historic landmarks. Climb the Black Mountain or explore the wild habitat of some of the area’s most elusive wildlife. Likewise the Preseli Mountains are nearby and offer spectacular views for even the least competent walkers. Carmarthenshire is another region with much to offer its visitors – whether you’re fishing in one of its rivers or visiting the ancient ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle. West Wales is just bursting with attractions – stroll around the National Botanic Garden of Wales, take a boat trip out to the islands, unravel the stories of Pembroke Castle and take part in one of the numerous outdoor activities. Or, just dip your toes in the waves and breathe in the restorative fresh air. A holiday house in Wales is always a good choice, but this area is truly magical.
