Holiday rentals in North Wales
The fact that North Wales has three designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) says it all really. The biggest draw for people finding holiday rentals here is to enjoy the great outdoors, and there’s lots to enjoy! Wales is given a bad press when it comes to weather, but it is also a year round holiday rentals destination, as long as you’re prepared with your raingear every now and again! North Wales is home to Snowdonia national park, which is excellent hiking territory, so if you’ve got the energy, make that your first port of call and get yourself to the top of Mount Snowdon, Wales’ highest mountain. The area is mostly rural with mountains to climb and valleys to explore; some of the most delightful holiday rentals can be found in these rural areas, where you’ve got nothing but sheep for company and can indulge yourself in pure relaxation, away from life’s hustle and bustle.

More about your North Wales holiday...
There is also a fine coastline to explore with vast beaches that look out to the Irish sea – only the really brave will do more than paddle in these chilly waters! For the culture vultures there are castles and stately homes galore. Many of the castles date back to the 12th and 13th centuries and date back to the time of the battles by the Welsh Princes of Gwynedd to resist the rule of King John. Finding holiday rentals near the Isle of Anglesey will be a nature lovers delight – another of North Wales’ AONB’s, it contains rocky headlands, golden beaches, dunes and heaths, and a wealth of wildlife including choughs and grey seals.
