The local area is based on the traditional Ottoman village of Uzumlu which is agricultural with an emphasis on growing grapes. There is a quiet rural existence which is not significantly influenced by the few expats who live there. The heart of Uzumlu village is a square bordered by home-produce shops, a post office, Internet cafe, a mosque as well as the inevitable tea-houses. Wandering around the small lanes that fan out from the square you can see women weaving cotton on traditional pedal looms in front of their houses. There are a number of restaurants and an excellent modern wine bar offering local wines and good food. There are three other restaurants within a short distance from the villa - Uzumlu village itself is under 2km from the villa. |

Fethiye is 17km away, you can use use the regular Dolmus minibuses or it's an easy 25 minutes drive to a bustling port with lots to offer. By the harbour you can walk past the boats or relax in the many bars and tea-houses. Calis Beach is 20 minutes from the villa and has a 5km shingle beach, many bars, restaurants and a water park - you can also get to Fethiye from here by water taxi. Olu Deniz, lively Hisaronu and Kaya Koy ghost village are all a short distance from Fethiye. Along the Lycian Coast there is paragliding at Olu Deniz, microlights, windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing, swimming, water-skiing and scuba diving. While inland there is walking, mountain biking, quad biking, horse riding, jeep safaris, bird-watching and visits to the numerous Roman and Lycian archaeological sites. |

| Leaving Dalaman Airport you head for the D400 towards Antalya and after about 25 minutes you turn left to Uzumlu on the Denizli road. After a further 10 minutes you pass Uzumlu and then after a further 3km turn right at a sign to Villa Kadyanda up a dirt road. |

The villa has four floors with the bedrooms located on the top two floors. The third floor has two double bedrooms, each with king size beds, and one twin bedded room, and the top floor has a twin and a family room. There are 5 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has all the facilities to cater for thirteen people and has a food blender and kid's eating sets.. The lounge has a wood-burning fire and seats seven on comfortable leather sofas. Entertainment includes Satellite TV and a DVD/CD player with a large library of films and music and a local mobile 'phone and Wi-Fi Internet is also provided. The interior dining room can seat seven (the adjoining terrace dining area seats another 6). A second separate lounge in an 'Ottoman' style has two sofa/single beds and a stereo music system with iPod dock, board games and many children's books. The Gym and Games Room has darts, quoits, table tennis, cross-trainer, weights, a punch bag, surround sound theatre system and a Nintendo Wii.

There is a lovely illuminated private pool with complete child protection which is surrounded by a large terrace with ample sun loungers and parasols. Throughout the summer there is a gentle cooling breeze that makes the terrace an idyllic place to relax. By the side of the terrace there is a covered marbled area with a large dining table close to both a gas and a charcoal BBQ for alfresco dining and there are incredible views across the plateau. Near the entrance is a separate paved area that can be used as a breakfast patio. There are three furnished sun terraces, two are outside the three double bedrooms that overlook the plateau and the other outside the twin bedroom that overlooks the mountain. Above and below the villa are grassed areas with fruit trees and shrubs. The lower garden has another sun terrace that is accessed through the patio doors from the Villa Gym and Games Room.

Further Details |
The villa is 45 minutes from Dalaman Airport, 20 minutes from Calis Beach and 30 minutes from Olu Deniz Blue Lagoon. Close by are the shops, restaurants, wine bars and a weekly market in Uzumlu village. The Roman/Lycian city of Cadianda is behind and above the village at 900m and is reached by a dirt road which is a 15 minute drive from the villa - the site is well worth a visit for the fascinating archaeology.

The weekly rental rates are for the whole villa, including all utilities, and there are no extra charges. HM Forces, Emergency Services and small groups of less than 8 can deduct 15% outside the Peak Season. To book you pay a 25% deposit with the balance paid 8 weeks before arrival. We can arrange return transfers from Dalaman Airport and we can also arrange vehicle rental. Book your 2013 holiday before 31/12/2012 and deduct 10%.

So Villa Kadyanda has proved to be a real winner for our Turkey holiday. Firstly we loved all the space, the games room was a big hit and all the facilities were used every day. The pool was gorgeous and the setting was just perfect! Such a beautiful view from every aspect, if I could I would bring this view back with me! Nail and Errol were just great and so helpful with everything, having the 'phone with his number works really well. Really enjoyed being out of Fethiye but close enough to access all it has to offer without any effort. Uzumlu is really lovely, so friendly and laid back and gets you straight into the holiday mood. I think it is only fair to say that we really enjoyed every moment of our time in Villa Kadyanda and we experienced no problems or challenges at all. It really felt like a home, thank you for a wonderful time and if we come back to Turkey we will definitely stay at your villa.

Just a quick line to thank you very much for our fantastic stay at Villa Kadyanda. The villa and all of the provided facilities were superb and faultless. We had some fabulous visits to Fethiye where we hired a private charter boat and also to Saklikent and to Dalyan. We took your advice and ate at the Alya Park which was great. A visit to the Roman ruins at Cadianda was definitely worth the trip. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay by all concerned and a perfect way to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

Villa Kadyanda was in one word – Fantastic! Everything was there and the breakfast was very welcome on the first morning. We stayed in Turkey for a 1 week boat trip, but my mother was almost crying that she had to leave the villa. We will certainly recommend the villa to all our friends! Uzumlu was also a very great village and we all loved it!

We got back from Villa Kadyanda on Friday. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay at the villa and were delighted with how well it was equipped – with everybody in mind! We sampled Selale Pide for lunch also Alya Park and Cadianda (who delivered a meal to the villa which was much appreciated). Car transfer and car hire all went smoothly, so thank you again for your assistance in this matter.

The transfer service with picking up everyone in a spacious bus was superb and also prompt arrival to take us back to the airport. It really made a big difference to the holiday, many thanks for organising that. The whole of the party commented very strongly on how much they liked and enjoyed staying in the villa. Your agent was very helpful and the use of the 'phone made a difference in keeping the cost down on keeping in touch. I trust everything was in order when we left the villa, the cleaners and maintenance man were very friendly!! All in all, it added up to a superb holiday and your help was much appreciated.
