Holiday rentals in Turquoise Coast / Lycia
The Turquoise coast is Turkey’s southwesternmost shore, dominated by the Toros mountain range which creates a stunning backdrop for many of the beaches. It is no surprise that holiday rentals here are popular, from beachfront villas, to inland hideaways and mountain farmhouses. It’s only in the last 40 years that there has been continuous paved road through these parts, and some of the prettiest bays and islands are still inaccessible to vehicles. This is one reason why yachting and boat holidays are so popular here – holiday rentals on the water! A yacht holiday gives you access to parts of the coastline which you wouldn’t otherwise be able to get to.

More about your Turquoise Coast / Lycia holiday...
The far west of the region is Dalyan, well known for its sandy beach and as a breeding ground of loggerhead turtles. If beaches and nature don’t do it for you, then there are also some ruins nearby (Kaunos) which are well worth a visit. Many of the holiday rentals in the area are in and around Fethiye, the Turquoise coast’s largest resort town. If you can cope with the crowds, it’s perfectly placed for visiting some of the more spectacular Lycian ruins and if you head inland a little, you can still find holiday rentals which are out of the way from the tourist crowds. Inland the mountains and high plateaus make for some excellent walking and mountain biking, and often afford you the most spectacular views out to sea.
