Holiday rentals in Cappadocia
Although Turkey’s holiday rentals are all exotic and magical, there is nowhere in the country quite like the region of Cappadocia. Easy to reach from the rest of Turkey, it is stuffed full of un-missable attractions and you would be wise to spend a few days taking them all in! The first thing visitors to holiday rentals in Cappadocia notice is the unique landscape. Part volcanic rock and part red sandstone and salt, the land is full of caves, crevices, and the famous ‘fairy chimneys’. This area is a geologist’s dream! Perhaps the most amazing thing is what Turkish people over the centuries have done with this seemingly impossible countryside. All holiday rentals in the area are within easy reach of one of Cappadocia’s breathtaking underground cities. Derinkuyu and Kamakli are two of the most impressive and you cannot visit the region without seeing at least one of these.

More about your Cappadocia holiday...
If you really want to experience what Cappadocia’s inhabitants have done with their rocks, make sure you visit the cave churches of Guzelyurt and the Ihlara Valley, and the painted caves of the Goreme Valley. You could even ditch your holiday rentals for a night, in favour of a stay in a cave hotel! There are plenty more buildings and museums of interest in towns like Nevsehir but if you’re not into history fear not. All of Cappadocia’s towns are characterised by stunning natural scenery, and you won’t go far without passing a pottery shop or a vineyard. If you want holiday rentals which offer a bit more activity then you will not be disappointed. Everything from trekking to horse-riding to hot air balloon trips is on offer, and then you can reward yourself with a traditional Turkish meal and a glass of locally produced wine!
