John and Josefina are bilingual hosts that meet and greet guests, giving them a personalised orientation / introduction to the city for their stay.
The building was constructed in 1900. In 1999 the Architects Teresa Rovira and Roberto Terradas undertook the complete renovation of the apartment for their daughter, also a well known Architect in Barcelona. This has given Casa Capella 1 a distinctive, contemporary feel. John and Josefina acquired the property in 2004 and set up Casa Capella 1, offering luxury serviced accommodation for the discerning visitor to the city.
