The fully serviced lodge, which can be booked either as a guest house or as a private residence for 4-14 guests, nestles in the heart of Andalucia, with Sevilla, Córdoba, Málaga, Jerez and Granada on your doorstep. The lodge is perfect for small groups coming together, for gatherings of friends and family, or for private meetings. The lodge feels wonderfully remote but it is only 10 minutes from the vibrant town of Ronda, the largest of the White Villages. Set in the rolling countryside of the ‘Serrania de Ronda’ mountains, you are surrounded by natural parks that beckon you for walks in their pure air. There is a lot to do here, from calling in at the local bodegas and sampling the fine wines, to visiting the Alhambra in Granada, the Giralda in Sevilla or the Mezquita in Cordoba. Have a day at the beach, go kayaking, hike, paraglide, take a balloon flight – or just do nothing all day long. |

Getting There:
| To find us, take the road to Ronda. On the roundabout take the exit towards Campillos (A367). After about 200m, take the turn-off on your left to ARRIATE. After about 5km you will arrive at the village of Arriate and drive through it, in the direction of SETENIL. Exactly 2km after leaving Arriate, there is a kilometre-post “KM 2”. At this point do not follow the curve towards Setenil, but do go straight up behind the KM 2 sign up the asphalted track. After 400m, when the tarmac stops, turn right onto our land. You will see small and large cypresses along the drive. After 300m you will reach the lodge – if you call ahead, one of us will be waiting for you.

The lodge has been designed with a modern, contemporary feel and it is beautifully and luxuriously well-appointed. Our aim is to provide the friendly service of a luxury hotel with the exclusivity of your own private space. Admire original art from Tangier to Rwanda, 19th Century "Amsterdamse Joffers" and contemporary abstract pieces. There are 7 double or twin bedrooms, all of which have en suite bathrooms and a private terrace or garden. Five of the rooms are around the patio and two further rooms are set in the well-kept gardens. The drawing room has comfortable sofas in front of a large open fire, which we light for you in the winter - perfect for cuddling up or having a siesta. At other times of year, snooze with all the windows open and let the summer breezes caress you.

The lodge benefits from extensive well-maintained gardens, full of both sunny and shady spots for you to relax in. The 18m swimming pool is filled with ionised water which feels like it comes straight from a mountain spring and every dip feels revitalising. And if you’re not in the pool you can laze around it on one of the comfortable sun loungers. Enjoy a light lunch on the patio or chat in the shade of the mulberry trees. On a summer evening, the cicadas serenade you while your candle lit dinner while you sample the finest wines from our local bodegas. The unspoilt views of the sunsets and the mountains are something you will never forget.

Conditions of
Rental |
Our conditions for payment and cancellation policy are as follows. To confirm a booking we require a 30% non-refundable down-payment of your reservation. On making this reservation you commit yourself to our cancellation policy.
The remaining amount needs to be transferred six calendar weeks in advance of your arrival.
If you cancel six weeks before your arrival we will charge you 70% of the total sum and if you cancel within a week of your arrival we will charge the whole amount of the booking.

I wanted to say a very huge thank you for making our time at your lodge so very special. We had such a fantastic break, Sonny and Tabitha had an absolute riot and the babies were in blissful heaven! Food was fantastic, rooms so very comfortable and the views and pool were just superb. We are seriously planning on coming back next year!! (if you will have us!). Christina you asked me what would make the lodge 100% perfect and I mentioned a child's pool - and then it arrived - we couldn't believe it. So very kind and thoughtful.

The rooms at Lodge Ronda are elegant, sunny, breezy and stylishly-appointed. The bathrooms are wonderful as well. In fact the rooms are themselves are part of the special experience that Lodge Ronda offers. There are two smaller rooms off of the pool that are a step down from the others due to their size, but in a house of seven bedrooms you can't expect all to be of the same quality. The house is also structured so each guest has a great deal of privacy -- the 5 larger rooms all have beautiful outdoor space that extends the experience.
The meals are lovely and it is an added plus that the chefs try to accomodate your wishes in terms of types of food as well as time for the meals. The dinners are especially distinctive, and the setting couldn't be nicer -- there are two possible outdoor areas for meals and both have views and lovely breezes. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and they laid a beautiful table and even baked me a cake! We ate, we drank, we had a fabulous time...it was everything a dining experience should be.(!). I have to go off the scale on service. Such wonderful, gracious people! The friendly and patient staff are part of what makes LR such a wonderful experience. You practically have your own concierge service at the hotel, and Frank, Javi and others couldn't have been more helpful and kind.
We're already planning our return trip and I have begun letting other friends know they should consider LR for their next vacation. We were there for a week and we wished it could have been a month. A very, very special place.
