The beautiful 'white village' of Vejer de la Frontera is just 5 minutes by car. Some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz are just 10 minutes away by car - the long golden beaches of El Pamar & Canos de Meca up to Conil are particularly good for families in the summer and surfers in the winter. We work closely with Montenmedio Golf & Country, less than 1km away, who offer our guests their own residential rates (10% discount.) Within a short drive there are several other excellent courses. Guests can also benefit 10% discounts on a wide range of activities such as horseriding, 4WD & quad-biking. There is a wealth of choice for nature lovers too - from whale & dolphin watching to safaris exploring the wonderful National Parks. Your days can be as active or as laid-back as you wish - sherry-tasting, a day-trip to Seville, Cadiz or even Morocco are some of your options. |

What visitors have said about Mimosa Casita |

We had a wonderful time in El Sueno! We really enjoyed your peaceful little paradise and I am sure this wasn't the last time we stayed with you. Thank you so much! In fact, El Sueno is even much more beautiful than I expected it from your website!

Thanks for everything. I saw approaching 100 species of birds even in the few moments I had to devote to it. Pick of the bunch was probably the bald ibis (three came over the finca one morning), but it was also an experience being woken up nightly by a red necked nightjar - you have one not too far away - and being scolded on the patio in the mornings by the nesting melodious warbler! We might take the Cortijo next time if we can muster a group!

Yes we had an excellent time at El Sueno. It was really good to stay in such a well kitted out house. I always bring a pen knife when I go abroad believing I'll be using it a lot however this time it didn't come out once. Why we even had a torch! The grounds were really special too. Louisa our 8 month old had her first swing, loved the birds, the pool and having two baby sitters for the week - us.

I had a great time - really relaxed and rested. Unfortunately a busy week has made me slightly forget all the goals I promised myself in terms of not over-doing it ... Anyway - just an incentive to book another week in the future. I also hope to return with the family at some point."

We had a great time on our honeymoon, both in the Sierra Morena and at El Sueno where we visited Bolonia, went whale watching on the Straits and visited a farm that bred the toros bravos and stunning horses - we also took up the recommendation to dine at the Trafalgar which was superb

We all have to say a great "THANKS" for the great time in great place. El Sueno was so wonderful, everyone of us enjoyed the time. It was a great pleasure to see all the storks in the air while having breakfast, or the flock of Northern Bald Ibises on their way to the greens of the golf and country club. Although you must have had a very wet winter and spring (good for nature), we had perfect sunny conditions during our time down there. Very cold nights, but sunny till morning to dusk. Even some bathes in the sea (or the pool) were possible, while the Spanish people shook their head, seeing these crazy alemanes. Anyway, it was a great time and last not least in due to the comfortable Casita Mimosa inside the lovely garden."
