Finca la Serenidad is well named. The only sound you will hear is the buzzing of bees, the song of many different birds and in high season the distinctive call of the cicadas - the quintessential sound of a Mediterranean summer. Our nearest village is Bédar, 2kms away, one of the very few traditional whitewashed hill villages in this part of Andalucia. We have just two air conditioned guest rooms, each with its own bathroom and sharing a guest sitting room and large covered terrace. There is only one other house in the vicinity and we are not too close and definitely not overlooked. |

If you can tear yourself away from all the peace and quiet of the beautiful mountain scenery, you can get to the coast at Mojácar in half an hour and the wonderful and justly famous, unspoiled beaches of the Cabo de Gata in another 15 minutes. For the more energetic there are 6 golf courses within half an hour, Go Karts at Garrucha also half an hour away and in the summer the Aqua Park at Vera (you are never too old!) |

Although we are delighted if you would like to take advantage of our dinners, we recognise that you may not want to have a big meal every night and might prefer to prepare something simple for yourself. So the guest sitting room is equipped with a fridge, microwave convection oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and plancha (table top grill) plus there is a barbecue available on the pool terrace for your use. There is an honesty bar for spirits, wines and soft drinks. The best part about using our guest catering facilities is that we take away the dirty dishes and wash them for you! Pool towels, bathrobes and hairdryers are provided.

The guest terrace is entirely private for our guests. In addition you are welcome to use the pool and the surrounding terraces and sunloungers at any time.

We regret that there are a number of areas which might prove hazardous for children so we do not normally accept them.
Please not that the availability calendar shows 'not available' when both rooms are booked. 'Available' may mean one or both rooms are free.

Rental |
There is a reservation deposit of 30% of the total cost of stay (minimum one night's tariff). Minimum stay 2 nights except in July and August when it is 4 nights.
