This former farm has 6 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is ideal for two family accommodation or large groups of up to 12 people. There is a 8x4m swimming pool. Exotic walled garden with Moorish fish pond. Cortijo Arroyo Medina is rural but not isolated.There are magnificent views and is on the edge of a small hamlet consisting of traditional Spanish farmhouses and whitewashed villas. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and ideal for exploring either by car or on foot. |

Cortijo Arroyo Medina has a lounge, dining room (with 8 foot antique timber dining table seating 12), kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 with en-suite) and a bathroom. Rustic covered dining terrace, a further covered terrace and a large open terrace with stunning views. The adjoining cortijo sits within the walled garden which has a Moorish water feature surrounded by Fig,lemon,orange and palms. This cortijo has a sitting room with wood burner and DVD player. A spacious kitchen/diner. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

The properties sit on a large plot of land and have stunning mountain views. The gardens enjoy a high degree of privacy. At Cortijo Arroyo Medina you are spoilt for choice. From the main house you have uninterrupted panoramic mountain views - a wonderful setting for relaxing by the Roman style pool (8m x 4m) and ending the day with an aperitif as you wonder at the magical landscape. Alternatively, you can wander down to the large exotic walled garden planted with fig, citrus and palms. Within the walled garden there is a heavenly Moorish style mosaic pond edged with local ochre coloured marble. The walled garden is ideal for naturists. For al fresco dining, there is a wonderful rustic dining terrace made from the antique eucalyptus roof beams sourced from the main farmhouse during renovation. There is an outside shower, BBQ and 8 foot dining table.

Nearby there’s masses to do and see. The surrounding countryside is a diverse mix of mountain ranges, lush valleys and arid river beds (ramblas). Lake Negratin is Europe's second largest lake with a magnificent backdrop of towering red cliffs. Tempting turquoise water to swim in. Lakeside restaurants, including one with a Roman thermal pool just down the road in Zujar. Beach on the lake, plus another naturist beach. Granada is a wonderful city famous for the Alhambra Palace and The Albacin. Great shopping. Desert Springs is a top quality desert golf course. Equipment hire available.
