Cloud House Farm is ideally positioned to access the local villages of Genalguacil and Benarraba (20mins drive), the historic town of Ronda (1hr drive), the golden beaches of Estepona (1hr 15mins) and the spectacular city of Seville (2.5 hours). Cloud House Farm borders the Rio Almarchal, a fresh water mountain stream that can be reached within a short 20min walk. It boasts striking river pools that can be enjoyed in total privacy. A 25 min walk in the opposite direction will bring you to the more popular and larger Rio Genal. It’s possible to walk the river in the summer as there are many pools hidden from view. A 20min drive from Cloud House Farm will bring you to Venta San Juan, also on the Rio Genal this is a local favourite, the river pools here are truly spectacular and deep enough for cliff jumping. If river pools aren't your thing, the local villages of Genalguacil and Benarraba have beautiful open air swimming pools with poolside bars and restaurants. |

What visitors have said about Cloud House Farm Yurt Holidays |
| |
| |
Wow what a holiday, we had an absolutely smashing time, one that will be hard to beat! We've always enjoyed the great outdoors and this magical place truly surpassed our expectations.
Our three year old boy Archie was in his element, getting mucky, making dens, finding pirate treasure and playing with Maddy 'Moo' Dog - the friendliest dog ever!
Many a glass of Rioja was enjoyed hanging out in the evening sun through to the star lit nights on our private terrace.
We really did relax and totally forgot about our hectic life back in London. One thing we would advise is to stock up with provisions on route as you won't be in any hurry to leave once you arrive at Cloud House.
We will definitely be back!!

People talk of 'getting away from it all', well Cloud House Farm is the real deal. Beautiful Andulcian mountains, shimmering streams for swimming in, biking and hiking heaven, and the occasional immaculate little white town if you want to check out some real and rustic Spanish cuisine.
Our Yurt was a work of art. My wife hates camping but this is about as far from canvas and airbeds as you can get. She loved it! Cloud House hosts Dan and Justine made us so welcome to their beautiful campo retreat. They were there with fountains of knowledge on the local area when we needed advice, but left us in complete privacy at all times so we could 'soak up the tranquility' as Dan eloquently put it.
We can't wait to go back.

We have been very fortunate to have travelled the world and really gotten off the beaten track to places where we could really relax and get away from it all.
In all our travels there are only a few places like CLOUD HOUSE - places that really gave us that feeling and afforded us a week on our own, enjoying the simple things in life - good food, beautiful views, serene country side, easy living - IN STYLE BUT SIMPLE !
We would highly recommend a stay at Cloud House for the adventurous, the wanderers, the thinkers and the travellers of the world.

Thanks Cloud House, this really is a stunning part of the world. Staying in the Yurt was such an adventure and my girls loved it! And finding our own special part of the river where we spent days without seeing another person!
We will definitely return to this beautiful part of the world.
PS. My girls aged 6 and 9 spent hours, swimming, splashing, jumping in, playing mermaids or castaways, catching little fish and building dams.

All the Baileys would like to send sincere thank yous to Dan, Juss and wee Fredy for helping us have an amazing adventure in your beautiful yurt. You guys made us feel right at home.
And what an incredible setting! I could have spent hours comfortably pondering the benefits of campo life while taking in the breath-taking views from your compost loo.
Amelie was as happy as Peppa Pig in a muddy puddle running around campo-style in not much more than her nappy!
From river-swimming, family naps in hammocks, and nights counting shooting stars while we ate home-cooked rustic Andalusian delights outside - every day of our break was inspiring and rejuvenating. And our jaunt to fabulous Sevilla was the cherry on top.
Needless to say, we'll be back.

Thanks a billion for such an ace time at your beautiful and unique place, you guys really know how to make people feel welcome. The only one problem with that is, we never wanted to go home.
Absolutely loved the whole Glamping in the yurt, we can't wait for our next visit.
LIKES:
The Yurt and loo view
Stargazing
Skinny dipping in the stream
Eating wild boar, for waking us up!
The arts festival in Genalguacil
Trekking through the forest discovering crazy new plants and insects.
Maddy - an amazing time-served guide of the outback.
Being on the staff of Uncle Rico the cat
The natural mud spar in Casares
The weather
DISLIKES:
Leaving to go home.

What a wonderful holiday, thanks Cloud House! It took a while to get there mind, but that's the point. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Justine who instantly made us feel at home.
Our mongolian yurt was clean and comfortable, but we didn't spend much time there. After a day of just chilling, we started to explore. From the peaceful citrus groves to cooling off in the rock pools down by the river, across the valley was the very picturesque village of Genalguacil.
But our favourite part of the whole holiday was sitting around drinking the local wine and eating tapas, watching the sun go down and the stars come out. They were so bright that even our 1 year old daughter couldn't help but exclaim 'wow!'
TIP: would be useful to have a 4X4 as the road to the finca is definitely not a beaten track, having said that we did manage in a rented SEAT with no problems!

Nothing like escaping the city and spending relaxed evenings with your family listening to the wildlife and gazing up at the stars.
Thanks Cloud House for giving us a different kind of camping experience.
Our kids loved the village pool (with bar!), the river pools and we loved cooking up a good seafood paella thanks to the mobile fish man in his van and Dan's recipe!
Dan and Juss pointed us in the right direction for checking out the gorge in Ronda just an hour away, the beaches of Tarifa and the authentic tapas and flamenco experience in Seville.
I even decided to give them a hand with a bit of petrol strimming, mowing the lawn will never be the same!
If you're into Ibiza and that kind of thing, this really ain't going to be your cup of tea, but if you want to relax and get back to nature it's perfect.
PS. The view from the eco loo should not be missed!
