The accommodations, parts of which date back to the 19th century are 4 self catering family & over 50's friendly fully licensed apartment cottages, 1200 feet above sea level in the Central Algarve (just 15 minutes from Faro airport), all with sea views & equipped, furnished & decorated to very high standards. The site is open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival & departure days. The accommodations are only let individually, no group bookings ensuring a relaxing break. There is a large pool, heated during the winter months, freestanding hot tub spa Jacuzzi, children’s play area & outdoor games area. |

Located two minutes north of the market town of Loule surrounded by beautiful countryside, a real plus for those who enjoy walking and bird watching, yet close to all local amenities, golf courses, beaches, water parks etc. Quintassential is just 15 minutes drive from the coast where you can experience all that the Algarve has to offer in the way of beaches and watersports, but there are also some excellent excursions to be made inland. An ideal base to explore and sample a little of the real Algarve. |

Two beautiful one bedroom cottages, furnished, equipped & decorated to a very high standard. These cottages are home from home; for those with babies, look at the extras we provide free of charge. The Lemon & Carob Cottages are the newer accommodations available, light and airy one bedroom properties with a large bedroom that has a double bed, digital security safe & patio doors leading on to the sun terrace. The bedrooms are large enough to also accommodate a cot/single childs fold out bed too. They both have the added benefit of a 21 inch TV with DVD player in the bedroom along with video players. The bathrooms have a shower, washbasin with vanity units under, WC, bidet and shaver point. The spacious lounge/diners are decorated tastefully.

The accommodations and grounds are blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views; just what you need for a tranquil & relaxing holiday. The gardens are simply marvellous, with many bushes, plants & fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax & absorb the views. There is a swimming pool (shared with the other cottages on site), measuring 10 x 5 m with sun loungers, parasols, garden furniture etc. Also on the pool terrace a hot tub spa Jacuzzi for guest use. The pool is heated during the cooler months from 1st October until 30th April & there is no additional charge for heating the pool. There is also a children’s play area with swings, slide, and see-saw all alongside an orange grove. For those who have a little more energy, there is an outdoor games area with a professional sizes table tennis table along with table football and an exercise bike.

SPECIAL DEAL: We are offering 7 nights accommodation for two, welcome hamper, heating, pool heating and a group B hire car from £395.00 per week. Valid from 1st November 2011 until 31st March 2012. There are three one bedroom cottages & a large two bedroom cottage.The Quintassential occupies an acre of hilltop set, totally fenced & accessed via electric gates in breathtaking Algarvian countryside, overlooking the market town of Loulé. There are spectacular panoramic sea views from Faro to Portimao. We do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun and relaxing. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment. There is a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature. The cottages are all separated from the pool area, the pool area is enclosed & gated. We do not charge for children under the age of 2 & can provide a range of equipment for babies and toddlers free of charge, meaning you can travel lighter!

We actually stayed for the first time in July 2006 and thought we had found heaven. We returned again in 2007 and again in April 2008. Mick and Rosa are the perfect hosts who are quick to figure out if you need company or relish your own seclusion. The properties are comfortable and clean with everything you might need on hand, including a welcome hamper of goodies to get you over the first day or two. We quickly settled into a routine of a day out sight seeing followed by a day in relaxing by the lovely pool. It is the perfect place to chill and recharge the batteries. We can't wait to get back.

Away from the bustle of Loule and the coastal resorts, but within easy reach of anywhere, we would wholeheartedly recommend the Quintassential. Rosa and Mick are excellent hosts. They seem to know all there is to know about holidaying in the Algarve. Nothing is too much trouble. The hilltop setting provides a wonderful panorama of the Algarve. The gardens are lovely. The apartments are very well equipped. The pool and hot tub are lovely. If you just want to get away from it all, this could be the perfect place!

Quintassential is an absolutely wonderful place to spend a holiday, whether it be winter spring summer or autumn. Mick and Rosa with the addition of Sophie their beautiful daughter and Alfie the charismatic dog have made all the cottages a joy to stay in. The view from the cottages is simply outstanding, you can see all the way from Faro to Portimao, the gardens are delightful, kept in good order by Mick and helped sometimes by Rosa's father, Joe. It is so nice to have a pool that is kept immaculate by Mick and also the Hot Tub. The cottages are clean and comfortable with satellite TV, Video and CD, books to help you while away the time, and lots of games. There is also now the addition of a children's play area which is essential for holiday makers with small children. All in all the best place in the Algarve for a holiday.

What can I say, the perfect holiday, my family and I have already been twice and have booked again for next year.
The accommodation was excellent with every facility you could need, home from home, and beautifully clean so much so last year we also took our parents and a few other family members who have also booked again for next year.
The location is great and the views stunning with some lovely local resturants near by.
Rosa and Mick the hosts are so freindly nothing is to much trouble, and always available with information about the best resturants and places to visit of which there are many. Vilamora is 10 to 15 mins away and has lots of bars and resturants. and the little town of loule about 5 mins.
To sum up my review if you were to stay at the Quintassential you would have a fantastic holiday and would almost certainly book again.

Visited Quintassential for 5 days early December 2008, what a fantastic place. Full of character, whilst having every modern conveneince one could wish for away from home.
Close to all amenities and the charming town of Loule, with the most breathtaking views across the Algrave.
The hosts Rosa & Mick were wonderful, really friendly with a wealth of local knowledge of where to go and see.
I will definitely be back - just wish it could be sooner!

We found we had everything we needed, from kitchen utilities, hairdryers, robes, movies, music and a fantastic view!! etc. We were very comfortable and enjoyed staying in the little cottage. Our first visit to the Quintassential – hopefully the first of many. We really enjoyed sharing your corner of paradise it’s a haven of peace and tranquillity. Loved the pool & hot tub and the company of dear Alfie. The views are to die for and the owners are perfect hosts. Look forward to seeing your daughter grow up. The cottage was really comfortable. The only problem we had was the wind and rain to start, but the sun came out and all was perfect!

Portugal is always wonderful, but this spot is special. The views from Carob create a striking atmosphere, especially at dusk. The birding is excellent, as so many places within easy reach. The hosts are attentive, friendly and good fun, and as for Alfie……… Thank You!

From our very first moments on your website, we knew this was the place for us in the Algarve. We were so intrigued by your commitment to the real Algarve. As soon as we pulled up, we felt unmeasurably welcome. We had an amazing week relaxing, exploring and enjoying the view out of our own terrace.
