Kazuri is part of the small hamlet of Vale Judeu which is in-between Loule and Villamoura, and 25 minutes from Faro Airport. The word 'Kazuri' comes from the Swahili for “small and beautiful”, representing the delicate and colourful ceramic jewellery of Kenya. Kazuri’s Gardens encapsulate this same sense of beauty and vibrant sentiment within its carefully restored rustic cottage accommodation. The Cottages are away from the tourist developments on the coast, yet the sea is only a few kilometres away. The property that now houses the Garden Cottages is believed to date from around 1850 and was originally a wine pressing farm. The current owner purchased the property in 1972 and established her home in the original farmhouse, progressively converting the outbuildings into seven charming holiday cottages. She has overseen and managed the endeavour from the beginning. Her unique flair for design has led to the artistic influences witnessed in each cottage. |

Kazuri's idyllic and secluded location allows for perfect peace and tranquillity, while its unique positioning allows easy access by car to many of the Algarve’s towns and facilities.
Villamoura is approximately 10 minutes away. This has recently undergone substantial redevelopment and now includes a modern marina and has some of the best beaches in the Algarve.
The thriving market town of Loule is approximately 15 minutes away; it features the ruins of an 11th century castle, as well as a museum, many small shops, cafés and restaurants.
Golf: The Algarve is renowned for its first class golfing facilities. Many famous courses are within a radius of 15 km; the nearest being only 4 km away.

| The nearest Airport is Faro which is less than 25 minutes away. Another possibility is flying to Lisbon or Sevilla, from where one can take a bus, a train or rent a car. Car hire is a highly recommended. Directions to the cottages will be given on booking. |

Each cottage is decorated to its own captivating colour scheme. All have their own romantic charm. Each cottage comprises of an open-plan sitting room and separate bedroom with en suite shower room as well as a pretty tiled kitchen. Each kitchen is generously equipped for two people, with a refrigerator, microwave, gas hob, toaster and kettle.

In the beautiful shared gardens is a large circular swimming pool surrounded by a paved terrace with recliners and sun shades. It is enclosed by flowering shrubs and climbers. Each cottage offers its own secluded patio and barbecue area for alfresco dining. Wireless Internet access is available from the communal patio area.

Modern supermarkets and shopping centres are readily available for all your shopping needs, but the owner of Kazuri also highly recommends the local fish, fruit and vegetable markets where you can experience incredibly fresh local produce. The nearest tennis courts are approximately 4 km away, and are available for hourly hire. The Algarve is renowned for its first class golfing facilities. Many famous courses are within a radius of 15 km; the nearest being only 4 km away. Several riding schools offer accompanied hacks and cross-country treks. Boats skirt the coastline and stop off for al fresco barbecues onshore. Deep sea fishing can be exhilarating, whilst a boat trip up the Guardiana River (which separates Spain and Portugal) can be a fun day out. Many additional activities are available during the summer months, including water slides, water skiing, pedallos, paragliding and other water sports. For the courageous go-karting, hang gliding and bungee jumping will really get your adrenaline pumping!
