What visitors have said about Casa do Forno Cottage |
| |
| |
This quaint cottage suited my wife and I down to the ground. From the welcome basket (including wine and beers!) to the personal, yet not intrusive, attention from our hosts Rosa and Mick, our holiday was one we will remember for a long time. Whilst the cottage is the smallest of the four available and may not suit people of a larger stature, it more than makes up for its size by being the most authentically featured with the original stone bread oven and stone sink.
The cottage is furthest from the pool which has the distinct advantage that the front of the cottage and gardens are the most private of the 4 cottages as no other occupants have any need to walk in front of the cottage to get anywhere. It is also the cottage with the best views of the sunset each night. We can honestly say that our evenings eating on our own patio with prawns from the barbecue rivalled any of the wonderful meals we had at local restaurants.
I have recommended the Quintassential to all our friends as it is not only a beautiful place to stay with its gardens and pool, but it is ideally situated to explore the Algarve.
I can't think of any minus points as the place suited us, All in all, I'd give the Quintassential 11 out of 10 for character and friendliness

Another fantastic holiday here at the Quintassential, lovely warm weather & lots of travelling to pastures new. We loved the Casa do Forno Cottage and of course it is always a pleasure to see the hosts.

What a wonderful place to stay, the garden and the view is a real treat. It has been really nice to see the real Algarve. Thank you, we will be back soon.

Obrigado for a super relaxing break. Always wary of the internet, we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely setting, good company “Adeus” but not goodbye!

Two weeks of super relaxed, chilled out soulful vibe from the Casa do Forno. Loved the “den” in the garden where we’d hide and listen to music with a sundowner.

We usually go backpacking so this was a holiday with a difference! Our first time at the Quintassential, but not our last. The best bits, the warm welcome, the pool and hot tub, the table tennis table and the terrace where we have spent many hours reading. Thanks for a great break.

Paradise revisited! Absolutely brilliant, just like the first time! It won’t be the last!!! You have made us feel extremely welcome and very entertained by Alfie and your daughter. Lots of love to you all.

Thank you for maintaining some of the flavour of the Algarve – in contrast to the bustle of Albufeira, Vilamoura and such like. We so enjoyed the tranquillity of your beautifully tendered garden with its refreshing aromas of lavender, rosemary etc. Bliss sitting on our terrace with a glass of cold vinho verde watching the sunset. Hope to be back with family from America and South Africa sometime.
