The Lodge Resort is located in Mirano, only 13 km from Venice, immersed in the peaceful countryside that extends between the Laguna and the River Brenta, where the Doges and ancient, noble Venetian families had their summer residences. The Lodge will be your refuge after an intense day in Venice or in the nearby cities of Padua and Treviso, and will be the ideal base for a cultural, social, gastronomic or sporting stay, allowing you to rediscover the secret harmony that only contact with nature can generate! |

Venice is just 13km away and is a beautiful old city where you can while away many hours whether eating, drinking or sightseeing. Padua is also only 20 minutes by train and Riviera del Brenta is 10 minutes by car or, if you’re feeling energetic, 20 minutes by bike! Treviso is another city well worth visiting and there are many other lovely towns and villages in this part of Italy. |

Each lodge is 40-60 square metres and sleeps from 2-5 guests. There is a spacious bedroom (with beds that can be arranged according to requirements) and a lounge area. The spacious bathroom which is equipped with a shower and ceramic fittings, is separated by a heavy curtain, and has a panoramic view over the surrounding fields. The Lodges are decorated with sumptuous four-poster beds with white tulle mosquito nets, colonial style fans creating a gentle breeze, and lots of original pieces - a sofa bed made from pallets that accompanied the first lodge on its long journey to Italy, antique sofas and armchairs that once graced the houses of our grandparents, now transformed into original and unique seats, wide, antique wooden wardrobes with beautiful mirrors, original aluminium bathtubs from England, transformed into modern shower fittings and antique cast-iron heaters.

Mirano is an ancient city situated in the heart of the "terra del tiepolo" and is an extraordinary example of the most important and best preserved road system in the whole of the Roman Empire. In the 17th century Mirano began to be populated by aristocratic villas with spectacular parks, which still grace the countryside today. Just 5km away you can take a boat trip on the the beautiful Riviera del Brenta to visit the ancient City of the Doges and of the noble Venetian families. For lovers of nature walks, take a mountain bike ride along the bicycle trails on the banks of the Taglio River and the Brenta River to visit the beautiful countryside of the hinterland of the Venetian Lagoon. Enjoy the exquisite and varied traditional cuisine going to pubs and wine bars (`osterie` and `baccari`) where you can eat and drink to your heart’s content. And of course Venice is less than 30 minutes by car – a city which will enchant you and keep you busy for days. And then there’s Padua with its beautiful square, Treviso with its ancient fortified walls, the list is endless!

A reservation request must be submitted by e-mail and must contain the following information: name, phone number, period required, number of nights, number of people, whether transfer service is required and airport/arrival time/airline. In order to confirm your reservation we require a refundable deposit for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival. We accept PayPal, cash or bank transfers for payment. Price includes a welcome drink, a healthy breakfast with homemade sweet Venetian treats, daily cleaning and towel change, drinks from the mini-fridge, use of the bicycles, parking, WiFi connection and transfers to and from the station in Mirano. Inside the Lodges you will find soap necklaces from perfumed Provence, candelabras and candles for romantic moonlit moments, crystal champagne flutes and DOC Prosecco wine.
