We aim to provide a slowness to your holiday; a range of simple apartments of varying sizes where you can prepare your own feasts using our fully equipped kitchens and the organic beef, olive oil and white truffles that the farm produces or relaxing moments by the swimming pool gazing over the quiet stillness of the farm. The three houses are separately located in the farm; two are divided into apartments for 2, 4 or 6 people and the final house is independent with private grounds accommodating 8-10 guests. We can organise private Italian cooking lessons and we hold one day bread-baking workshops |

Barbialla Nuova is perfectly located in the middle between Pisa, Siena and Florence - ideal for day trips to visit the world renowned galleries, museums and architecture of these famous cities. We are in the beautiful Tuscan countryside and it is possible to explore many interesting villages nearby such as San Gimignano and Volterra. There are marked walking paths through our farm as well as swimming pools Brentina 5m x 3,5m, Doderi 10m x 5m and le Trosce 3m x 2,5m. Nearby there are golf courses, horse riding and bicycle or scooter hire. In the Autumn months we invite guests to join us for truffle hunting and many of our apartments have open-fireplaces for cosy evenings.
The apartments have a minimalist charm, spacious and with fully equipped kitchens set in gorgeous restored farmhouses. We have kept the feel of the old houses – simple furniture and terracotta floors - while adding some modern comforts.

Getting There:
| Take the S.C.G. FI-PI-LI highway that connects Firenze to Pisa-Livorno, exiting at “San Miniato”.
Follow the highway ramp to the right, then turn right toward San Miniato. At the roundabout take the second exit toward Pontedera, take next right, direction Pontedera, in approx 900 m turn left, direction S. Miniato.
Before entering the old village, you will find the sign to Montaione, directing you to turn right.
Now you have to drive for a bit more than 10 km, crossing 2 valleys and 2 crossings that will let you turn left and left again (signs are visible).
Before arriving to Montaione you will find the village of Corazzano. Just proceed ahead till you find the white "6" sign on the left, about 4 km past the village. There is a dirt road on the right that will take you to our reception.

The farmhouses have been renovated respecting their original structures and adopting our well-loved policy of retrieval and reuse of original materials. The new renovations were carried out placing great attention on the criteria of bio-compatibility. The features of the apartments and their furniture were chosen in order to offer the feel and comfort of a private house and not just a hotel. Each individual object was chosen with care, as were the colours and lights. The apartments are deliberately without television or air-conditioning; instead, books and stereos are provided. We have a range of apartments, some with dishwashers and open fireplaces. Our house, le Trosce, has satellite TV. We have cots and highchairs on request and there is internet access at Reception. The apartments are comfortable in summer and into the cooler months also.

The gardens are filled with fruit and olive trees and guests are invited to use the marked walking paths which criss-cross the farm. Brentina house has a small shared swimming pool (3,5m x 5m), swings and a ping pong table. Doderi house has a swimming pool which is 10m x 5m and le Trosce has a plunge pool (2m x 3,5m). Each apartment has use of an outdoor pergola.

Conditions of
Rental |
To reserve an apartment we ask a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance is payable at check-in. In case of no-show, early departure or cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to your stay, we ask 100% of the total cost.
Check in is between 3 pm and 6pm and there is a €20 fee for late check-in between 6:30pm and 10pm.
Check out is at 10am.
Mid and Low season: 3 night minimum stay
High season: one week minimum stay, Saturday to Saturday.
Towels and linen are included.
Final cleaning is obligatory for weekly stays.
The cost of heating is included (except for Brentina Ovile and Le Trosce which is 3€ per m3).
The swimming pools are open May-September (subject to the discretion of management).
Cots are available for €15 per stay.
Extra beds (folding beds or sofa-beds) are available for €15 per night.

We have had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better setting or accommodation. The pool and eating areas are idyllic and have amazing views. The staff have all been great and very helpful. We'll miss the friendly cats that came to see us everyday as well.
