The house has been split to comprise two units of identical size, each sleeping six people. Each house has been renovated in line with its original style and with original furniture. If you are renting a three bedroom unit (rather than the whole six bedroom farmhouse), you will still have a large private garden and use of the swimming pool (shared if the other unit is also occupied). |

The nearby town of Cortona is an appealing historic town perched on a steep hill, with views over both Tuscany and Umbria. There’s lots to see and do: there are two museums (focusing on Renaissance and Etruscan periods), as well as some Etruscan ruins and a host of bars and restaurants to suit every budget. In summer there are lots of festivals and exhibitions, as well as cultural and musical events. The property is perfectly situated for day trips out and about, whether walking in the countryside or visiting nearby towns. |

| The nearest airport is at Perugia which is 45km awayfrom the villa in Tuscany, but the house is easily accessible from both Rome and Florence airports as well. The farmhouse is in the village of Montalla, about 3km from Camucia, just off the A1 (take the Valdichiana exit). From this exit you follow signs to the Perugia highway, and continue for approx 12km to the Cortona exit. In approx 3km you’ll see Cortona on the hill. Go through Camucia towards Mercatale or Umberide and after 1.5km you’ll see signs for Agroturismo Fontelunga. |
