General Info |
|
| |
Renovated with care, attention to detail and most of all preserving the hundreds of year of history that this trullo holds, the stone arches, curious alcoves, traditional materials, local tradesmen and time have revealed a trullo that is very special. Considering the environment, natural materials were used, and rain water is collected. Trullo dei Sogni is an ideal retreat from the stresses of the real world. |

What visitors have said about Trullo dei Sogni |

I stayed in this amazing trullo in June with friends and absolutely loved it. It is probably one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed. It is in the heart of beautiful Publian countryside but very close to the lovely toun of Martina Franca. I had never been to Puglia before a few years ago as I had always gone to familiar places in the North of Italy but this is such a beautiful area and so unspoiled that you can really feel like you are living La Dolce Vita as an Italian would !
I think this Trullo is the most beautiful I have ever stayed in - the renovation has been carried out with such loving attention to detail - but all the great modern conveniences too. But most impressive of all is the amazing garden and surroundings. They are lush and tranquil - I really felt like I was in a real place of peace and tranquility away from all the usual rush and noise of life back home. The food is really wonderful here in the local restaurants - fantastic flavours and very reasonably priced - especially compared to what you would pay in the North, sometimes double !
If you havenever tried Puglia I could not recommend it highly enough - it is as Italian as you get and I hope you get smitten like me - and they still do the afternoon siesta here - whats not to love !

It was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, the countryside, the calm and the beautiful trullo all did more than meet our expectations. Having Susan, the owner, there to greet us and available by phone throughout, provided the local knowledge and allowed us to 'trulli' appreciate beautiful Puglia. The experience of living in Trulli dei Sogni was magical. The mix of modern convenience, beautiful traditional touches, relaxing private grounds and our own pool meant that we explored less and relaxed more than expected. So we have to return! But we did get out and about, ate wonderful food, met the kindest people and visited Martina Franca's beautiful historic centre and fabulous stylish shops. cafes and restaurants.
