Trulli houses are unique to the area and there are many local legends surrounding their history. There are supermarkets in Castellana Grotte and Alberobello. There are excellent restaurants all around, one within easy walking distance. Bancomats (cash machines) in Castellana and Alberobello. The swimming pool is normally cleaned and treated twice weekly. |

Trulli Caso`lare is close to the charming town of Castellana Grotte famous for its huge underground caves. The caves are a very popular tourist attraction. Also nearby is the town of Alberobello capital of the Trulli. A sight truly worth seeing where there are literally hundreds of these local phenomona. Other attractions in the area are a safari park at Fasano and the nearby funfare. The historic town of Matera is some 40 kilometres away. It’s just a 15 minute drive to the Adriatic coast with many beaches, most of which have facilities ie. bars, restaurants, deckchairs etc. Distance from Castellana Grotte = 3 miles. Alberobello = 7 miles.
Monopoli (coastal town) = 8 miles. Selva Fasano (panoramic views) - 5 miles. Zoosafari park = 7 miles. Caves at Castellana Grotte - 5 miles. |

Getting There:
| Ryanair fly to Bari and Brindisi as do Easyjet British airways and Alitalia. Both these airports are about the same distance from the Trulli. Where possible we arrange to meet our guests at their arrival airport or at an easily found meeting point on route. This service is very popular with our guests as the property is a little hard to find especially at night when some of their flights arrive. Full directions are supplied once your booking is confirmed. |

The original stonework has been restored to its former glory whilst the living accommodation features all modern comforts. The interior consists of lounge, 2 double bedrooms, modern fitted kitchen, good sized dining area, shower room with WC, washbasin and bidet. Sky TV with channels in English. Comfortable seating and separate dining area. Broad stone walls keep the interior cool in the heat of the southern Italian summer.

Exterior Details |
The Trulli accomodation is in a secluded position overlooking a valley, and is set in 1500 metres of land. There is a patio at the front of the house and also at the back overlooking the pool (10x5m) with a terrace around the house a small BBQ is at the side. There are outside dining facilities and exterior furniture for relaxing by the pool. The house is surrounded by olive and fruit trees with gardens at the front and rear. It is isolated from the road by double gates leading into a drive with parking area.

Conditions of Rental |
A deposit of £100 pounds will be required to confirm your reservation, the remaining amount will be required in cash, pounds sterling upon arrival and in receipt of keys. Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are required to vacate the house by 10am but may relax by the pool until midday. The house is cleaned free of charge prior to your rental. Extra cleaning is available but is charged for. A damage deposit maybe charged and will be returned on completion of rental.

We had a wonderful relaxing two weeks lounging by the pool and visiting local towns.We enjoyed Alberobello especially in the evenings and would recommend a visit to the historic town of Matera, it is facinating and very moving.
